I'm a bit of a huge dork. 3D artist busting out and hitting the mountains between Top Gear specials and perfecting my Kerbal Space Program skills. I just moved from Denver and also bring with me a passion for craft beer, mountain trekking, and cycling--the latter in LA is like playing high stakes Frogger.
I love learning about how things work through Wikipedia adventures and mentally train to be the real MacGyver. I work on my art in my spare time, often modeling and painting using a mouse and Wacom--my work focuses on tech, history, and the mechanical. Otherwise, I'm out and about with friends or planning for next weekend from the list-of-awesomeness that includes hiking/camping/etc, movies at the cemetery, days at the beach, dinner & drinks, and more.
If I could choose to live a moment in the past it'd be a summer in '69--rock 'n roll, Vietnam, and landing a man on the moon. I was raised by a nutritionist, but am weak willed when it comes to pizza and cheesecake. I dish out pragmatism, but I'm an optimist at heart.
Altogether, I form the rare breed of "action-geek". I've never taken the Kobayashi Maru, but I passed the Voight-Kampff test with flying colors.
