Well, I was born and raised in Seattle. I have lived elsewhere (Boston, Vancouver B.C.) and traveled a fair bit, but really do feel at home in the pacific northwest.

I currently work as a residential counselor at a facility for teenagers with serious mental health and behavioral issues. I learn something new everyday and I am regularly humbled by the emotional strength of others.

I spent a number of years getting on stage and telling jokes to strangers for money.

Patiently waiting for D'Angelo to make a come back album. He is supposedly working on one, at which point I will have to find something else to be doing with my life.

Coming up with hypothetical situations wherein I meet Prince.

People tell me I look and sound a lot like Charlie Day. I think I just have a beard and am excitable.

Books: A lot of them, all the time. Diaz, Egan, Harbach and McCann were the last four fiction writers who blew my doors off.
