My Self-Summary

Hi my name is Jeanette I am originally from South San Francisco, California until I relocated to San Diego 5 years ago for college. I graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in Classical Studies (Study of Ancient Greece and Rome). Don't let that scare you. It is something that I found interesting. Especially the gladiators and Roman combat. Although the classical world is fascinating... it is not my passion. I'm currently getting another degree in Interior Design. Now that is something I truly enjoy. Hopefully in a few years I will own my own company.

Anyways... I'm a kid at heart. I go to Disneyland every few months and the little things amuse me. I'm not a hugely into the party scene but I do like to have fun. Whether it is going out clubbing with friends or staying at home watching a movie on TV or playing board games. I am dictated by my mood. I try not to have each day be the same. That would be depressing.

Hmm what else... I always hate these summaries... I never know what to say... that's why I could never be a salesperson.

I enjoy long walks on the beach with my dog Bella (even though I think she hates it haha). I'm also a huge anglophile.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently getting an associate's degree in Interior Design. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan I will be done in couple more semesters and then I can do what I love. I would love to move back home to San Francisco or even to New York in the future. I want to travel the world and go wherever my feet take me.

I’m really good at

Cooking, drawing, kicking your butt in Mario Kart.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile is what I've been told.

But what would you say?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: The Hobbit, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, Harry Potter, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Confessions of a Shopaholic, The Great Gatsby. I also like books about Pirates. That culture fascinates me. And no I do not mean the glamorized Disney pirates.

Movies: Labyrinth, The Wiz (sue me...), Shawshank Redemption, The Women, Death Becomes Her, Saw movies (I love gore... it's the only thing that truly scares me), Harry Potter movies, Zombieland, 80's movies (i.e. Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, Return to Oz, The Last Unicorn), The Phantom of the Opera

Music: I pretty much listen to all kinds of music (From Enya to Lady Gaga to Three Days Grace to Ice Cube). My music tastes depends on my mood and I like music I can drown out everything else to. I do love movie soundtracks/scores.

Food: Mexican Food, Pasta, Fast Food.

Television: Prison Break, True Blood, Tool Academy, Locked Up on MSNBC, To Catch a Predator (which is hilarious. I love the episode where the guy walked in naked... who does that?).

The six things I could never do without

My cell phone, the internet, a good book, crappy reality television (Flavor of Love is my anti-drug), Jack in the Box Tacos, Prison Break.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

42.

What was the best thing before sliced bread? And how lame was it that sliced bread topped it in the greatness scale?

And also... Why doesn't Morgan Freeman just do the voiceover for every documentary made in this world. That should be his job. Can we make that a government mandate?

On a typical Friday night I am

At home watching a movie or reading a book 9 times out of 10. If I'm not there I'm out at a club dancing with my friends.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I own a Snuggie. I know I know!!! I'm a part of the cult... but you'll never catch me wearing it outside. I'm not THAT lame...

Also I spend most of my time on IMDb looking up movies that are going to be made. It's kind of exciting to me in a way. I feel like I am in the movie know.

You should message me if

You find me interesting... or want to know more :) Also if you love Adventure... I'm searching for my Indiana Jones :p

Oh and if you're looking for a casual encounter... don't bother. I didn't write all this for a fling :p
