I guess you could say that I am currently dating my job, but we are
in an open relationship. I'm hoping to meet someone who doesnt pay
me every two weeks for dating them, even if the checks are nice. I
am a pretty chill guy who enjoys the cheesy lines in movies and
wishes secretly someone would hold a boombox over their head and
blast 80s music for me.
My hobbies outside of work are reading, searching for indie music,
seeing friends in DC and the greater metropolitan area, and
generally being active. I like my lazy days but I like my adventure
days even more. Meeting new people and discovering new things are
just a few of my favorite things.
I'm determined to succeed in life, whatever that truly means, and I
am looking for someone who has some drive and goals. At the same
time I love being goofy and ridiculous and I am in a really good
mood 95% of the time. So if you are looking for someone who always
smiles, loves to laugh, and has no issue letting loose, I am your
What I’m doing with my life
Working outside of DC in MD and being ridiculously charming.
I’m really good at
Adventurizing (coming up with adventure ideas), cooking, driving
aimlessly, dancing (to the beat I believe goes with a song, usually
wrong), singing (loud, clear, and off pitch), and writing
(sometimes for public consumption and sometimes for the dear old
The first things people usually notice about me
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Harper Lee, and Oscar
Movies: It's A Wonderful Life, 10 Things I Hate About You, and
Music: Brendan James, Mumford and Sons, Sara Barielles, cheesy pop
music, and really a crap ton of other stuff. I love music and I
love talking about it....soo....
Food: Mexican and Middle Eastern. I am allergic to weird
things...like gummy bears, gummy worms, jello and things in that
family. I know I am missing out...but am I really? Also I love a
good cup of coffee. Some may say I'm obsessed with coffee...
TV: Friends, Will & Grace, OITNB, The Mindy Project, and really
bad reality TV
The six things I could never do without
Button Down Shirts
I spend a lot of time thinking about
traveling everywhere and anywhere (its part of my adventurizing
[see "what I'm really good at"]), living in New England one day,
and Christmas. (Seriously, I reaaallllyyy like the holiday season)
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to find a decent rooftop happy hour with my ridiculous friends or enjoying a glass of wine as I catch up on "my shows."
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I hate going to Home Depot, as in I have an irrational hate of this
place and refuse to go there. Also, even though I like reading,
libraries give me the heebee geebees!
You should message me if
You have an intriguing life story or you can get my attention with
a really well thought out completely unbelievable one. If you enjoy
the holiday season but aren't super into religion. Or if you are a
great conversationalist with a heart of gold.
