My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Baseball obsessed (Giants baby!!). Passionate about astronomy. Love my family and friends. Always in search for a new Belgian beer (love the Trappist in Oakland!). I like quiet nights with a great book or netflix, but also going into the city with friends for an Irish coffee at Buena Vista. My interests and life are a total mixed bag in pretty much every way...have been called a 'man of many hats'.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Absolutely loving my job as a house-to-house tutor. Just finished writing a book (a tragic romance with time machines!). I am making an effort to improve my health, so I've recently been doing juice detoxes, as well as lots of hiking. Just started stargazing as a hobby, too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Working with kids, helping (I hope!) to bring out their inner potential. Listening to others. Staying on the positive side of things. Picking the wrong line at the grocery store ('s ingrained into my DNA or something). Awkwardly stumbling, but turning it into a smooth recovery.
The first things people usually notice about me

I've heard I have intense eyes, but also a calming presence. Huh?

Oh, and apparently I have a crazy laugh, a la Ron Swanson

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family. Friends. Giants baseball. Live music. An amazing, world-flipping-upside-down-(ing?) book. A gut-wrenching, air-gasping laugh.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
recently, I've been thinking about okcupid's system of questions. How can you ask me, "Are you a dog or cat person?" and follow it up with, "Do you have any fantasies of being slapped in the face while rubbing butter all over your chest?", only to then follow that up with, "Paper or plastic?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In the city with friends, or working on a new story at home
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ha, nice try OkCupid. But you didn't say please.
