My self-summary
I consider myself in a constant state of change. That's sort of a disclaimer... Results may vary.

I've been characterized by friends, colleagues and family members as pretty relaxed, nice and a good conversationalist. I have a great personality(blew it right there, didn't I?)!

I can be a bit reclusive at times, and I'm prone to excess of pretty much all kinds. However, I consider myself to be a very ethical person, or at least I've laid some pavement on my road to hell.

I'm not a very achievement driven person. I'm more interested in enjoying my life.

So yeah, I'll definitely rock your world and no mistake.
What I’m doing with my life
Treading water, trying to find a porpoise.

At the moment my life is pretty dualistic. During working hours I'm this amazingly interesting customer service person at an insurance/banking company. When I'm not working I'm just your average nerd that likes to read and play computer games when not hanging out with friends.

Also, I started yoga a while back (UPDATE: and then stopped, hoping to start again at some point). I don't have a killer body yet. Well, unless you want me to roll over a puppy or something, but that's not something I'm comfortable with.
I’m really good at
Writing fast, making snap decisions, spending money and oversleeping.

Procrastinating. It's worse than my smoking... I'll die earlier and achieve less.

I can almost always tell when they use a fake dinosaur in a movie.
The first things people usually notice about me
Never asked what people notice about me... I'm funny in a cynical and sarcastic way?

People do say I'm very laid back. I'm not entirely sure about that myself, at least I don't feel laid back.. But that's what they say, so who am I to argue?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Erlend Loe, Malcolm Gladwell, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams and the list goes on and on..

I'd like to say I love really interesting movies. However I mostly watch action movies or comedies. Tarantino hasn't made a bad movie. The latest movie I've enjoyed was The Life of Pi.

Some of my music favourites right now: Tom Waits, Polkadot Cadaver, Manu Chao, The Herbaliser, Gogol Bordello, Olivia Ruiz, De-Phazz, Sublime, Janelle Monáe, The Mutants..
The six things I could never do without
I don't like this question. Either it invites you to recite platitudes about friends, family etc. Or then you have to list things you can do without.

But here's stuff that I value in life:
- Good conversations. About whatever.
- Fun(different kinds of)
- Music
- Weird stuff
- Freedom
- Little moments of perfection.
- New experiences
- Diversity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Mostly useless stuff... Like the meanings of words, thought processes, puns, clever sayings.

How different our realities must be.

Why people define themselves and their values through negatives, e.g. the 10 commandments etc. Denying something always conveys the idea that is being denied. Wouldn't it be smarter to shape your life through positives instead? I want a healthier life so I'll eat vegetables, as opposed to I don't want to gain weight so I can't have chocolate? I actually don't think about this too often, but it's a realization that I'm pretty proud of, so I thought I'd share. On an internet dating profile. I'm really not this boring in real life. Mostly. (yes I am)

Why there's a pineapple confectionary in every box, and what kind of hideous mutant would choose that one first? (okay, this last one is usually during christmas, when someone always has a confectionary box. The good ones are already eaten and you have a choice between pineapple and rumpunch or something) If you're one of those people please let me know, I want to study your habits.
On a typical Friday night I am
Meeting friends, going for a drink or just being awesome at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I have this theory about secrets and privacy, you see.. If you freely admit to all the stupid, idiotic and embarrasing things you've done, you aren't tied down by those things, as you have nothing to hide. Yeah, I'm twisted like that.

Besides, perfect people are either boring or liars. Everyone's done something stupid and the skeletons in your closet grow the harder you try to hide them.
You should message me if
Why not?

Also: You live relatively near, are willing to entertain the idea of meeting at some point and aren't a computer.
