My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just left a corporate accounting job in DC to work for a non-profit organization called the Fair Food Standards Council in Sarasota. I'm excited about my work and would really like to get to know some people in the area.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When I'm not working I enjoy kayaking, walking around in nature, checking out local music, and reading.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
In person: Making people laugh
On this website: Attempting to send non-nonchalant messages that end up awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm currently reading The Swamp by Michael Grunwald. Other books I've read recently are Righteous Minds and Thinking Fast and Slow. I also enjoyed A Brief History of Nearly Everything and a Walk in the Woods both by Bill Bryson. Growing up I enjoyed Harry Potter and the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman. I really enjoyed the Art of War by Sun Zhu, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

For movies and shows: Downtown Abbey is awesome. Deadwood and Rome from HBO are my all time favorite shows. The Daily Show and Colbert Report are my bread and butter.

As far as music goes I have very eclectic taste. I'm not that into Metal but besides that I can usually enjoy it. Definitely plan on heading up to Tampa to see some music when I have time. Artists that jump out at me now that I'm thinking of it are Ben Prestage, ZZ Ward, Dawes, Arcade Fire, Phantogram, The Raconteurs, and The Roots. I'm also into that new Thrift Shop song.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, my friends, sleep, and spicy food. I guess I'm a man a few needs because I cannot come up with six.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Tomatoes. I work for a group that audits working conditions on Florida Tomato farms so tomatoes are on my brain all the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hanging with friends at a bar or house gathering.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My karaoke song of choice is U Don't Have to Call by Usher.
