My name is Michael. I am a student at UNM and I study biological anthropology. I plan to get my PhD in forensic anthropology. I am very passionate about helping people who have passed. They have no means of helping themselves, giving closure to their family or, if needed, making the people responsible for their death be held accountable. I know that this is a very odd thing to be passionate about, but I know that this is the life path that I want to fallow. I love to study the skeleton and human evolution!
Other then that, I like to think of myself as a fun, outgoing and expressive person. I like to go out with friends, play sports and have fun. I like to play basketball, football, water polo and golf when ever I can. I don't do it for any organized team, I just do it for fun and to keep healthy. I have also started to take a yoga class threw UNM and it is great. I plan to continue it after the semester is over. I enjoy being outdoors and being out and social.
I like to take vacations when I can, traveling and experiencing new things.
My family is an important part of my life and I like to think that I am an important part of theirs. I still live at home with my parents for right now. I should be starting my new job this week and I may move out shortly after that.
I am a nerd at heart. I have always loved super heroes, sci-fi shows, movies and books. I love zombies and all types of horror movies as well. I also like video games. I go threw phases where I will play often and other times where I don't play at all. The most nerdy thing I am doing right now is I am working on my first cosplay outfit. I am making the Secret Wars Black Spider-Man suit for ACE this June.
I was raised Catholic and went to a private school for nine years. My beliefs are important to me and I am fairly steadfast on what I believe. However, I am also realistic about the world. I disagree with several things that the church proclaims but I know that God still loves me. I know that God loves us all and that he is not an angry God that people make him out to be.
I am a pretty laid back guy. I like to go out, have fun, see movies and try new things. I am also very open and honest, at least I am trying to be. If there is anything else about me that you would like to know, I am willing to answer any questions.

Also, I want to be able to give closure to the family. I just started a job at Office of the Medical Investigator as a Morphological Technician. I assist doctors with autopsies, handling evidence and other things pertaining to investigations.

-I am not a huge reader. I do like to read some, but mostly textbooks about human evolution or anatomy.
-I love so many movies for so many different reasons that it is impossible to pick just one. But, the movies that mean the most to me are the ones that remind me of my family. Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Hot Shots 1&2, Airplane 1&2, The Warriors... Just to name a few. Those are my kind of movies with my kind of humor. I'd like to meet a woman who is okay with making dumb quotes from movies for fun. I surely am serious.
-My favorite shows are kinda sci-fi or serious dramas. Supernatural, the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica and Bones.
-I love all kinds of music. Dubstep, country, hip-hop, rap, pop, classical, 90's, funk ect.
-I am a big New Mexican food lover. I could survive on red and green chili for a year and still want more. Other then that I like Italian, Asian and American foods, too.

Really random things. Like life on other planets, evolution, time travel, women, super heroes, sports, ect.

Hanging out at home. I don't have a ton of friends and I am really looking to get out more and experience the world a bit more.

I have had only one previous relationship that was a 6 1/2 year relationship with my "high school sweetheart." We had to end things recently because we just grew apart. I was very unhappy in the last two years. I really tried my best to make it work but I ended up just denying my feelings. I never felt like I could talk about my wants or needs with her. After two years of this, I made a mistake. I cheated on her with another woman and my girlfriend found out. We tried to make it work for a month but she ended up meeting another guy and I needed to fine somebody else. In the end, we broke up but are still friends. She is doing well with the other guy and I am very happy for her. As far as I go, I regret hurting her and I will never cheat on my partner again! I will make sure to be honest about my feelings and communicate better from now on. I know it was wrong and I have learned my lesson and I will never hurt another person like that ever again. If you cannot accept that and believe, "Once a cheater, always a cheater," I understand.
