I am a lazy innovator, a bored introvert, and a Pokemon master.

My Self-Summary

To quote a certain doctor (with a PhD in horribleness):

"The world is a mess and I just... need to rule it."

I'm suffering from an extreme case of writer's block while trying to type this up, so I'll just list some key points. If they strike your fancy (who the hell says that?), send me a message and then we can work on fleshing out all the delicious details.

Michael James McGrath (Mike)
Eighteen. Nineteen on September 24, 2010
United States Sailor
Currently stationed at Corry Station in Pensacola, FL
In school to be a cryptologic technician for the US Navy
I'm a natural-born introvert and wouldn't have it any other way
San Diegan
Non-smoker/drinker/drug-user
My sense of humor is a bit unorthodox to say the least
I fall into the category of geek
A movie, popcorn, and an adorable girl is perfect
Zombies are a bit of a playful obsession of mine
Ska is the key to happiness
INTJ, also known as The Mastermind
Cheesy, campy, sci-fi movies, as shown on MST3K, make me happy
I find "social butterflies" a bit too intimidating for my tastes
My hands sweat ridiculously. I wish they didn't...
Music and film stir up more emotions for me than anything else does
I can convey my thoughts more efficiently through writing rather than verbally
People continue to escape my ability to understand them, but I keep on trying anyway
I love anything that brings up a sense of nostalgia from my childhood

I'm in no desperate search for a girlfriend, but I am looking for some friends to keep in contact with. And if you happen to be local to where I am, I'd love to hang out with you. So if catching a cheesy movie at a drive-in or going out to a sushi bar sounds like fun to you, I'm always up for a good time.
Now in German
Und hallo mein Deutscher (oder Deutschsprechen) Freund! Es tut mir Leid... Mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut. xP

What I’m doing with my life

Searching to quench my infinite thirst to be entertained.

I’m really good at

Memorization, percussion, analytical thinking, and when I was a kid, I was pretty pro at Connect-4. :P

The first things people usually notice about me

My height. I'm pretty tall and I like it that way. I'm also a bit skinny, so I think that's noticeable.

A few people have also brought up my eyes as looking "cool". I'm not sure what they see, but I take the compliment. :D

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

When I get the chance to read, I love a good adventure story or satire. The Sword of Truth series is pretty fun and I love The Zombie Survival Guide! Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories are a favorite of mine to read before falling asleep. Sun Tzu's Art of War and Machiavelli's The Prince also rank up there.

Shaun of the Dead is my all-time favorite movie, though I would be ashamed of myself if I didn't mention the following. Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element, The Silence of the Lambs, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2, Star Wars, Reservoir Dogs, The Lord of the Rings, The Scream Trilogy, Inglorious Basterds, Dawn of the Dead, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Speed Racer, and anything on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I've always been a fan of ska, such as Streetlight Manifesto and The Aquabats!, but lately I've been listening to a lot of synth-pop and death metal. Its so weird too, because I've always hated any form of metal. I blame Metalocalypse for making such an awesome show about a death metal band. But in all honesty, I have favorites in every genre. I think you'd have difficulty figuring out my tastes by looking through my iTunes.

Go with me to a sushi bar and you will have my heart. Plain and simple.

Adult Swim plays most of the shows I watch, such as Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Tim and Eric, and the like. Though I am also a big fan of True Blood, Scrubs, and House. And a few animes are a guilty pleasure of mine, such as: Case Closed, Full Metal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, and Death Note (up until L dies). <]:P

The six things I could never do without

1. Fiction: Who doesn't love escaping reality from time to time?

2. The Internet: What greater invention could possibly exist?

3. Zombies: When is the outbreak going to happen?

4. Wikipedia: Where else will I satisfy every slight curiosity I have?

5. Villainy: Why is it so fun to be evil?

6. Quentin Tarantino: How does he make the greatest movies ever?

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything! Really, my brain is twisting and turning about countless thoughts at every second. I can't ever stop it. I just wish I could press pause and take a breather once in a while.

On a typical Friday night I am

On the computer, chatting, watching a movie some friends, and eating. Sounds like Heaven to me.

You should message me if

If you love partying and getting wasted, would you kindly press the back button and find another profile? I have no interest in such activities and like to enjoy myself in a less chaotic lifestyle. Yeah, yeah... I'm no fun, right? I simply find it that one should be able to have a good time without alcohol and too many people use it as a social crutch.

I also find that religious fanatics and conservatives don't mix too well with myself, which is all I've found down here in Pensacola. I'm hoping to discover at least one person here who I can relate to.

Now, if you find what I've written up there sounding a bit similar to yourself, feel free to message. I rarely ignore someone who makes the first step. Just please don't let your introductory message be another one of those countless, "Hey, what's up?" messages.
