My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
*note: this is the first time I've been on here in months, so I'm sorry if I didn't get back to anyone in that time, I'm sure you're awesome.

I was born in the OC, lived in Washington state for the last 10 years, and now I'm back living in SO CAL.

I'm an EMT in both orange and LA county with a great company. I'm an out going guy, quick to make friends. I love the outdoors, I would hike or swim in the ocean every day if I could. I miss the woods and the stars in Washington and the readily available camping, hiking, and climbing that seem to be in short supply near Long Beach, but I guess that's the price we pay for the beach. I love the water, I played for the CWU polo team in collage. The ocean has a lot to do with why I moved back to Cali.

A major focus and continuing goal in my life is travel, I've been around a bit, ask if your interested in said adventures. I cook a lot, sketch, paint, play some guitar and piano, gotten very into tattoo design in the last year or two, and love hangin out with my dog Zeke. He's pretty cool. Dont be jealous.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm living it... and also,

I'm an EMT working on field requirements to enter a highly competitive Paramedic program. I started out university as a Psych major and ran with it for over two years before I decided I wanted to take a more hands on approach to the world. It may take a little longer, but I've never been one to buy into to the race to get a degree for the sake of a degree. I feel education should be pointed at a goal. I've put myself through school mostly cooking, and volunteering, and plan to continue doing so until i'm a certified Medic.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Adventure. I dabble in music and video editing/composition, decent with cars, more than decent in the kitchen, always loved sketching and I design a lot of tattoo art for friends and myself, of course.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm tall. And I've got gold eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I dont watch a lot of TV, but I do follow a few shows online, like Hell on Wheels, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, and Falling skies. I'm a bit of a sci fi nerd when it comes to tvs and movies.

I've never been able to put a finger on a favorite book, though I really enjoy Bukowski, Cormac McCarthy, Tolkien, Hilton, Tom Robbins. Always loved old lit. Voltaire, Dante, etc. I've read the inferno 3 times. Also love random used books store finds, fictions, stuff on the metaphysical.

I tried to read Moby Dick in 5th grade. And failed.

Music is ever present. My mother was a choir and band teacher. I grew up singing. I play piano and guitar, I've been in a metal band and a hip hop group. I love soulful jazz. I constantly search for good substantial and lyrically based hip hop. You will find Nat King Cole, Avett Brothers, and Tracy Chapman on the same play list as Blue Scholars, AC/DC, Black Keys, and Macklemore.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee. Without a doubt. I drink roughly a pot daily.
My dog.
A good book.
Loud music.
Spicy food.
Water!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The impermanence and fluidity of life.
My next forward movement.
And tattoos...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends, in with friends, or working.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have an okcupid account...

If you're not looking for a random hook up or a bro. I want to meet and get to know interesting and complex people.

And if you have tattoos. Definitely that.
