I really don't like talking too much about myself. I will only state here that I like to hike, skate, snow shoe, go sledding, exercise, go to live music shows, and I love dogs.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in accounting; that doesn't mean I'm boring or that I have a black or white worldview. It just means that I like things to balance. I plan on taking the CPA exam in 2015 after much delay.
I’m really good at
I would guess keeping up with current events, exercising, and
taking care of my dog. I'm NOT good at spouting b.s.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can't really say what people usually notice about me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I don't have a lot of time for TV (this may explain why my DVR is almost full) but there are select shows I regularly watch and those would be 'The Walking Dead', 'Vikings', and 'Better Call Saul'. I also watch quite a bit of the History Channel; I know I should be concerned about that since I see a lot of commercials on that channel for prostate and erectile dysfunction remedies. I swear the demo for that channel must be for guys ages 80-100.
As far as films are concerned, I typically like films directed by Stanley Kubrick, the Coen brothers, pre-2000 Quentin Tarantino, Luc Besson, Guy Ritchie, David Lynch, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Joe Wright. I really don't get into actors. A bunch of great actors can be in a film and it can still be really terrible; just look at the film 'Love Actually'.
I'm really into music; I like Britpop, shoegazer, dreampop, trip-hop, synthpop, electronica, and indie rock. I like going to live shows as well.
My Favorite Food: Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, and Mexican food - in no particular order. In fact, I just like food; food is good.
The six things I could never do without
Music, film, my dog Bailey, my friends, technology, and freedom.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Gnomes and unicorns
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing stuff and things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think sock puppets are really funny.
You should message me if
1. You exercise your mind AND your body. I haven't let myself go; all I ask of others is that they haven't let themselves go either.
2. If you love dogs. If you don't love dogs I would like to ask you a question: How does it feel to not have a soul?
3. If you don't smoke.
4. If you don't regularly smoke pot (Note: Although I'm against the 'drug war' and want pot, among other currently illicit substances, to be fully legal, I just don't like being second fiddle to a joint).
