My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I recall a person on this site stating that finding someone with the right chemistry is like “a lottery”. In other words, finding the right chemistry with a person has the same odds as being attacked by a polar bear and a great white shark at the same time. I would argue, at least for me, that the odds against finding the right chemistry in Seattle are much greater than that. In fact, I think I would have a much greater chance of being attacked by a great white shark and a polar bear in the middle of Volunteer Park in the heat of summer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in accounting; that doesn't mean I'm boring or that I have a black or white worldview. It just means that I like things to balance. I plan on taking the CPA exam in 2014 after much delay.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I would guess keeping up with current events, exercising, and taking care of my dog. I'm NOT good at spouting b.s.
The first things people usually notice about me

I can't really say what people usually notice about me.

I don't have a lot of time for TV (this may explain why my DVR is almost full) but there are select shows I regularly watch and those would be 'The Walking Dead', 'Vikings', and 'Boardwalk Empire'. My next mission is to get caught up on the show 'Downton Abbey'; with my TV watching habits that should take only about 2 years. I also watch quite a bit of the History Channel; I know I should be concerned about that since I see a lot of commercials on that channel for prostate and erectile dysfunction remedies. I swear the demo for that channel must be for guys ages 80-100. By the way, when it comes to owning a TV girls on OkCupid should read this:

As far as films are concerned, I typically like films directed by Stanley Kubrick, the Coen brothers, pre-2000 Quentin Tarantino, Luc Besson, Guy Ritchie, David Lynch, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Joe Wright. I really don't get into actors. A bunch of great actors can be in a film and it can still be really terrible; just look at the film 'Love Actually'.

Please excuse me while I bog this section down with my musical interests: I'm a huge fan of the Britpop (Oasis, Blur, Suede, The Charlatans, Saint Etienne, Pulp, Elastica), shoegazer (Jesus & Mary Chain, Curve, Lush, Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, Ride), dreampop (Hooverphonic, Darling Buds, Cranes), trip-hop (Portishead, Massive Attack, Morcheeba), synthpop (Depeche Mode, Apoptygma Berzerk, De/Vision, Ladytron), electronica (Chemical Brothers, UNKLE, Crystal Castles), trance (Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond) and indie rock (New Order, The Smiths, Nick Cave, Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, PJ Harvey, Interpol, BRMC, Stereolab, Garbage, The Sounds, Savages, Lana Del Rey) genres. I generally don't listen to contemporary pop, hip hop, new country, or rap because imho that stuff is just about awful.

My Favorite Food: Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, and Mexican food - in no particular order. In fact, I just like food; food is good.
The six things I could never do without

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
1. You exercise your mind AND your body. I haven't let myself go; all I ask of others is that they haven't let themselves go either.

2. If you love dogs. If you don't love dogs I would like to ask you a question: How does it feel to not have a soul?

3. If you have issues with my ear piercings then just move along because I'm not the guy for you. This particularly irritates me coming from girls who have multiple piercings.

4. While there is some music out there that I just don't "get" such as Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen, etc. I do understand the artistic merit of such artists. However, there is some 'KISS FM' type "music" and "New Country" out there that I think is just pure garbage steeped in douchebaggery and if you're into that kind of trash more power to you but I'm just not the guy for you.
