I also lived in Denver for a while but that doesn't mean I like skiing. In my humble opinion, skiing is really just an expensive habit for the rich and well-off like golf or cocaine addiction. I also lived near LA for a while but don't worry; I didn't live there long enough to become a complete douche.
I really like Seattle; the weather here is nice if one can fight through the Fall/Winter gloom which I somehow manage to do without anti-depressants (small miracle, I know). The dating here in Seattle just about sucks though.
As far as dating in general is concerned, I recall a person on this site stating that finding someone with the right chemistry is like “a lottery”. In other words, finding the right chemistry with a person has the same odds as being attacked by a polar bear and a great white shark at the same time. I would argue, at least for me, that the odds against finding the right chemistry in Seattle are much greater than that. In fact, I think I would have a much greater chance of being attacked by a great white shark and a polar bear in the middle of Volunteer Park in the heat of summer.
