My self-summary Propose an edit
I just graduated from SUNY New Paltz with my MS. I love
the hudson
valley and plan on staying in the area. I've bounced around
from place to place a lot (my friends called me a nomad for a
while) and finally get to settle here.
I'd have to describe myself as a fun, yet, domesticated dork. It's
true, I am an intellectual who likes to cook with friends while
making bizarre references and talking about life. By nature I'm
uber warm and affectionate to those whom I love and trust.
Overall I can make random bar/club chit-chat, but that really
doesn't do it for me. I like talking to people and learning who
they are and what they're about. You know, actual conversation. I'm
a cuddler, a biter, someone who likes to sing randomly, and one who
feels things deeply.
I know who I am, and where I want to go. Right now I'm cutting
through the chaos that likes to pop up in my life and heading
towards stability. See, I love going on adventures, but I want a
base to jump off from and come back too and building a life here
seems like a great way to do it.
My interests are really random. I love baking bread, I taught my self how to read
and write Sanskrit (although I'm currently very
out of practice), my dad taught me to play backgammon and chess
when I was 5. I love the arts painting, sculpture slam poetry and
literature I
read everything from modern stuff, to classical philosophy, to
comics. I've also
been know to put pagliacci, TV on the radio and scissors sisters
on the same cd. I'm also big on hiking, swimming, dancing, random day trips,
but I'm missing whatever chromosome makes people into sports or
cars.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
Doing a balancing act. I just got more or less acclimated to my job
and have started a crewing hours towards completing my professional
license. So now I'm working on redeveloping my other interests and
taking steps towards home ownership and all that jazz. I just
presented my thesis at a conference in DC and it's currently under
peer-review for publication in a journal in england. So I'm slowly
working on integrating those parts of my self into other parts of
my self.

I'm really looking for someone who's got themselves together,
someone who is sure of themselves, and still looking grow and
develop so they can be the best they can be. I'm not really sure
how else to describe it, but really the only requirement for
messaging me is for you to think you're spiffy.
