Hey! I'm Mike...duh, right?

I'm a pretty easy going person and tend to get along with just about everyone I meet. One of the things I like most about myself is my sense of humor and how I can laugh at myself and take a joke pretty damn well. I'd like it a lot if you could, too.

I'm a pretty active person, too. I'm rarely at home anymore. Pretty much just to shower and sleep. But I usually have at least 1 night a week where I sit in and clear out the DVR or watch a movie and relax. I'm always looking for new things to do or new bars/restaurants to try or a show to go to after work, too.

I love to cook, too. I do it as much as I can when I'm at home and it usually turns out pretty well. I don't get many complaints, anyway. I'll totally teach you a few things if you ask nicely.

I'm pretty much at the point in my life where I want to find someone to share it with. Being single is easy, but it gets boring sometimes. Especially when you live by yourself.

I just bought a house! I'll be moving to Abington around the end of June. Who wants to help me paint? I'll gladly pay you in dinners and/or beer.

I also work two jobs to pay for said house, food for stuffing my face with and the activities listed below.

When I'm not working I play ice hockey, do yoga, come up with new food projects, find new restaurants to try, play bar trivia, along with the usual hanging out with friends and whatnot.

I've started running recently, too. I've finished three 5Ks in the last year or so and I've been pleasantly surprised as to how successful they've went. Running is sooo boring though, right?

I'd really like to go sky-diving and/or play paintball again soon, too.

I'm a pretty decent ice skater, I can cook rather well and I speed like it's my job. I'm also pretty good at being places on time (probably because I drive fast) and tying my shoes.

I'm also pretty great at knowing the difference between there/their/they're/you're/your/etc...I'm in MENSA and I'm fairly sure it's a requirement. But, with that said, I'm awesome at overusing commas, too.

Hmm, I'm not too sure. How about we get together and you tell me?

Movies: Anything with Will Ferrell (except Anchorman) or Clive Owen, most superhero/comic book/90's cartoon-based movies, Forrest Gump (probably my favorite movie ever), The Princess Bride, The Mighty Ducks, and Back to the Future.

TV: I am currently following a lot of shows: The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Shameless, Californication, Wilfred, and True Blood just to name a few.

Music: I wish I was Dave Grohl.

Food: Ohh, I love food. Pizza, pineapple, and anything made of pork and/or with garlic. Mexican food and cheeseburgers are also pretty great. The only thing I don't like on some level is shell fish.

4. A grill to cook on.
5. Peanut butter m&ms.
6. Yoga.

Unfortunately, coffee is slowly making it's way up this last, too. It's crept up into the top 10.

Why does OKCupid constantly suggest matches for me that live in Brooklyn or Newark or Maryland?...like I could easily date anyone from any of those places. I live in Warminster...get a clue, guys.

I'm usually playing hockey. My league plays games on Friday nights. If it's an early game, I'll sometimes head out and meet up with friends or something afterwards, otherwise I'll usually go home and catch up TV that I missed during the week.

Saturday nights are usually more eventful.

I've always wanted to learn to do a few ballroom dances. Take a class with me?

If one or more of the following apply to you:
- You like mildly funny (and fairly dirty) stand-up comedy mixed with a small amount of political ranting. I know a place, they have good food & beer.
- You want to take one of those dance classes I mentioned.
- You have a Super Nintendo and will challenge me at Mario Kart.
- You want to find a new restaurant to try.
- Or if you'd like to just get some coffee or a drink and hang out.

That last one is probably a good place to start. This place is a nice way to get the gist of someone, but I'd much rather chat and get to know you face to face than over a keyboard.

I want to meet some new people to hang out and/or go on dates with and hopefully come across someone who is worth investing some time and effort into.
