Adventurous, Intellectual, Distracted
Now retired I should have lots of time which I generally over or under schedule. Enjoy visiting and exploring different culture, their art, architecture, their hero's, their events and their normalcy, which is often surprising to me. Prefer to attend a specific event, usually involving music, dance, bicycling, walking, skiing, touring, then staying longer to explore. Enjoy all types of arts, the visual at galleries, museums, studios, and particularly outdoor sculpture, and architecture. Music, more at clubs and outdoors than at sit down concerts.
Love doing things in the outdoors, heat or cold, sunny or snowing. The specific activities come and go. Presently getting back to bicycling after a few year break. Have mountain and road bicycle, have used the road more recently. Back to alpine skiing after being bored with it a few years back. But now the best is new places never skied. Cross country, snowshoe, hiking, bicycling, exercise is good but so is relaxation. Recently liking bright hot beaches with lots of play and near cool water. Have given up a few things but there is always so much more.
Now there are projects, long put off while working and never having enough time for the projects and play, I normally chose play. Now I am remodeling my home with my ideas, often not what I should do. Playing with colors and perhaps wallpaper or unusual wall, ceiling, floor treatments. Converting the previous pool to an exceptional outdoor living area.
Trying to figure how to earn more money from investments.
Trying to find my new passions, dance, art, language perhaps.
My views on life, religion, politics, and the human condition are on the liberal side and pragmatic leaning to leaving the earth and its inhabitants richer and happier. Try to not be in the past, I look forward to the future and the progress it will bring. My view on religion are out of the ordinary and not in line with any organization.
