I am relaxed, intelligent, and pretty damn awesome..

My Self-Summary

I tend to not really like doing open self-summaries like this, but I'll give this a quick try.

I like being honest, so I'm going to make this as to-the-point as possible.

I'm tired of casual dating and casual sex. I'm not into that. Don't want it. Sorry. I like sex as much as the next person, but it's gotta mean something.

I'm looking for someone to have a relationship with, not just a date or two every once in a while. I'm not saying that I want to get married tomorrow. I just want something a liiiiiittle bit more meaningful than normal. Not too much to ask, I think.

I'm looking for someone who is as interested in me as I am in them.

I like people who like to talk. I'm a talker, and I value good conversations just about as much as any possible other thing.

It's always nice to have some things in common with another person, too, of course, but that doesn't mean that you have to like all of the things that I like. Far from it. As long as we can have fun together, it's all good.

Having good grammar and punctuation is a MAJOR plus, and some intelligence will go a long way towards making me think that you're awesome.

I guess I should tell you a little bit about who I actually AM, though, and what I like, so here goes...

I'm an avid reader, and a compulsive book-buyer. Used bookstores are my friends.

I love to watch good movies and television shows...I'm as varied in my tastes as can be, though. Every genre has something to offer. Ditto for music.

I like to play video games. I'm a bit of a nerd/geek. I work at Best Buy, for god's sake. I'm allowed to be. :-P

I'm very liberal, and I'm an unabashed atheist. I don't really care what your religious or political beliefs are, though, as long as you're open-minded enough to discuss them or at the very least respect the differences that we might have. I'm a very open-minded person, and I like to see the same in others.

I'm a cuddler. A big-time cuddler.

I REALLY like people who can take the initiative to message me first. Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly capable of messaging you, but sometimes it gets tiring to always be the one initiating contact. Be gutsy. Message me. ;-)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a sophomore in college that also works at Best Buy. I much prefer the latter. I love my job.

I’m really good at

debating, particularly about religion and/or politics. I'm also good at talking about random things. I love talking, basically.

The first things people usually notice about me

are my eyes, probably. They vary between deep blue and gray, but they're noticable.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:

Harry Potter series
Twilight series
Count of Monte Cristo
Icewind Dale Trilogy
God is Not Great
The God Delusion
The End of Faith
Godless (noticing a pattern?)
The DaVinci Code
Angels and Demons
My Old True Love
Dracula

A LOT more

Music:

Anything, really, but my favorite band is the Goo Goo Dolls. I like bits and pieces of absolutely any genre...techno, country, blues, rap, or anything else. They all have SOMETHING to offer.

Food:

Oriental food, hands down.

The six things I could never do without

1. Computer
2. Internet
3. Music of some kind
4. A way to bathe
5. My books
6. My contact lenses (I'm BLIND without them, I swear...)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

my job, the ridiculousness of college, and what I want to do that day.

On a typical Friday night I am

being lame and working. Maybe hanging out with a friend or two.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like a lot of girly music and movies. A LOT.

You should message me if

you think I sound at least remotely awesome.

OR, if you just like to talk. That's good too.
