My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's make this easy, I want a relationship. I don't want to marry you or anyone after one date and no that's not a challenge. I do want someone for me, someone to spend my life with. I can tell you I'll always be open and honest. With that said, let me tell you a little about myself...

How do I sum up online dating? It's rough! It's incredibly hard to figure out how you'll match (or not) with a person based on a picture and a few words. That being the case I thought I'd spill my guts and tell the good and bad about me. Maybe we should have our ex's write our profiles? They'd be honest, right? :)

Some things I like: The walking dead, traveling, learning new things, not a huge sports nut but I do like Notre Dame football - I'm not insane about it though. Food, wow do I love food; greasy burgers, sushi, a great steak, spicy...I love it all.

Some of the good: I'm incredibly funny, people laugh and even sometimes point as they laugh. That means they think I'm funny, right?! Kidding, but I do have a knack to make people laugh. I adore my kids, they aren't perfect, I realize this. That aside we're a family, I look out for them and they in turn look out for me. I grew up in a big family (7 kids), I'm number 6. I suppose that could be part of the bad, it's all a matter of perspective, right? I love my family lots, I try to call my parents every week.

Some of the bad: I don't always put the toilet seat down. I don't like putting the folded laundry away (but I will fold - see, it's a compromise). I snore - it doesn't bother me though :) I find myself working a lot but I suppose I could say it's because I don't have a reason not to (at the moment). I can be stubborn and opinionated.

I want to find someone that compliments me, which I know is a bit cliché but its how I feel. The yin to my yang, salt to my pepper, macaroni to my cheese ha-ha (someone stop me) I want to find someone with as many quirks and idiosyncrasies as I have, I think those little imperfections are what in the long run we fall in love with. So if you’re reading this and any part of what I’ve written strikes a chord with you, drop me a note, it can’t hurt can it?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
First and foremost I'm raising my children. Being a parent is incredibly rewarding and often frustrating. On the professional front, I have a career that I adore. By trade I'm a software engineer. These days I'm blessed to lead a large group of software developers. I do my very best to inspire and motivate them to be the best they can be.

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My kids
2. Laughter
3. Music (even if that means I'm singing - which no one wants)
4. Something to stimulate my brain
5. A comfy pillow...there's nothing worse that an uncomfortable pillow
6. Oreos

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
