I am driven, kind, and easygoing.
My Self-Summary
My name is Ryan Miller. The profile name is misleading, because I
actually hate Miller Light beer. There's some trivia about Ryan for
you. Here's some more:
I'm a purely vanilla, uninteresting, terribly bland male without a
sense of direction in life. In fact, I live the life of a bachelor.
I don't do my dishes. I don't wash myself. I haven't cut my hair in
a year. I haven't shaved for a month. I don't clean my room, and I
wear dirty socks more often than not. I'm a college dropout who
lives for TV shows and baseball. My favorite beer is Bud Light. I'm
an expert at beer pong.
If you're believing anything I just wrote, turn back, hit the
refresh button, pour yourself a heavy dose of sarcasm
(facetiousness is a good substitute if sarcasm is not available),
and try again.
In fact, the only true part about that was that Bud Light is indeed
my favorite beer, but that's a marginal part of my character. I've
never played beer pong in my life, I don't have cable TV, so I
can't watch shows OR baseball. My room is a typical room, my socks
are clean, my hair is manageable, and my face isn't overrun with
scraggly hair. I smell nice because I do wash myself. See? I'm not
really a total disaster, but you can draw your own
conclusion.
I like to have fun, and I totally had a blast writing that
ridiculous introduction of myself. Whether or not it is to my
advantage when it comes to meeting women remains to be seen, but if
I am truly misguided and blind, then I guess I'll just have to keep
trying.
If you haven't noticed already, I'm not quite right. Don't let the
flat facial expressions and docile nature of my appearance fool
you; I am two notches away from being clinically insane. In fact,
I've been known to act rabidly around women. Beware! Okay, so not
really. I'm pretty plain, but I'm trying to change that.
Sarcasm is an art, I think. Anyone who has a good, tasteful sense
of sarcasm sure is swell in my book. If you're still reading, I
guess it means I may have done something right to intrigue you.
That, or you think I'm so strange that the shock is keeping you
from leaving. Whatever the case may be, I invite you to stay and
learn a little bit more about me. I promise you it'll just pinch a
bit.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Customer Service Rep at a Sprint call center here in my
hometown of Farmington. I take calls from Sprint customers about
billing, account changes, product inquiries, a shade of tech
support, and, oh yeah, why they can't pay their bill this
month.
I have two years of college behind me, but it hasn't amounted to
anything, just a handful of credits right now. However, this
January I am attending the Law Enforcement Academy at MAC. Upon
completion I'll be awarded enough credits to complete an AA degree,
and we'll move on from there. I'll be riding around in a patrol
car, writing traffic citations, and muching donuts in no time.
I’m really good at
Making the most docile situation incredibly awkward on a
whim.
Cooking spaghetti.
Ruining just about every other meal requiring preparation.
Typing online profiles.
Typing bad online profiles.
Using correct syntax, tense, and sentence mechanics.
Except for all of these little bits of text. Most of them aren't
complete sentences. Oops.
Music and computers.
Portraying the stereotype of a "nerd".
Actually being a nerd.
This list was probably long enough several sentence fragments ago.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm a genuinely nice guy, especially to people I have just met. I
like to make a good first impression.
I wear my emotions on my sleeve. It's not hard to tell if I'm happy
or sad.
I'm also tall and lanky,
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Uh, gosh, this list always gets me.
As for books, I hate to admit that I don't read very often.
Recently though, I have begun reading the Fire and Ice series and
the Dune series. Both of which are superb. I've read other things
here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Movies, well, man! I don't get to the theaters very often. I don't
often have someone to go with! I do enjoy movies though. I'm a
total sucker for Disney/Pixar movies. I also like action flicks.
I'm not too big a fan of horrors. Not because I'm real scared of
them, but because the same thing always happens. You get scared.
Woohoo.
Music.....a lot of my taste is in classic rock. It's good, it's
old, and it rocks. Boston, Journey, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac,
Little Feat, The Who, Kansas, the list could go on forever. Now,
that's not to say I don't like newer music either. I enjoy
Collective Soul, RHCP, Panic! At the Disco, Imogen Heap,
Audioslave, Shinedown, and this too, can go on.
I'd be better off saying I don't particularly enjoy country or rap
music when talking about tastes.
The six things I could never do without
1. Friends. Truly, they make my world go round.
2. Family. I'd be nothing without them.
3. The Internet. Sadly, I'm addicted. I use Facebook all the time
to stay connected with people.
4. A car. I am blessed with reliable transportation, and I realize
how much of a luxury this is.
5. Good food. Even though I'm a little on the skinny side of
average, good food makes me salivate like mad.
6. Eyeglasses. Clarity of sight is a wonderful thing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My Self-Summary.
What I'm Doing With My Life.
What I'm Really Good At.
Could you tell?
On a typical Friday night I am
Could be working, could be relaxing at home, could be out with
friends. It all depends. Though, if I had my choice, it would most
certainly be the latter. Friends in any quantity are welcome.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I am intimidated by things I am afraid I won't do well at. I think
it is a strange variation of perfectionism.....so I do not try new
things out of a fear of failing at them.
You should message me if
If you think we'd get along and you'd like to get to know me
better.
And I won't be shy about it either; I am looking for someone to
date.
