I'm a young 47 that has my life together and would like to share it with that special someone. I keep active with biking and hiking Mt. Diablo on the weekends. Although I'm active I can also be a homebody at times and just kick back and watch a film or read.

I'll make it brief, I'm not into writing novels about myself. I helped start up a very successful dotcom and still work there in The City. I do some traveling, especially during the summer. I also spend time with my daughter when she is in town.

I'm a damn good conversationalist and can discuss a host of subjects, the reason being I do a tremendous amount of reading - either books, magazines or online articles. I'm also a techie as this is part of my career. I have a keen sense of direction - I rarely ever get lost. I can fix a lot of stuff around the house as well. I'm also a very good painter, I've painted many homes, inside and out.

My eyes. They are very blue.

Some favorite books are Catch-22, The Pillars of the Earth, World Without End, A Brief History of Time. Some favorite movies: The Godfather I and II, Lord of the Rings, Casablanca, Amadeus. Music would be anything from Bach to the present. I love Chinese, Indian and French foods.

My daugher (of course), the NFL, friends and family, my mountain bike, San Francisco, the night sky.

Developing new Databases at work. Ah, kidding. Um, how about who I'm going to meet on this site? And is there actually an end to the Universe ? What's beyond the farthest galaxy? Just more empty space? Hmmmm.

Either at home working out or reading. Sometimes out with friends in The City.
