I am geeky, imaginative, and introverted.
My Self-Summary
A slightly introverted sometimes geekish guy. He likes cats. Cats
and computers, oooh, and books. Skiing is fun as well when it isn't
causing me physical pain.
What I’m doing with my life
Occasional bits of legal work while working at a market research
company doing computer work.
I’m really good at
My biggest talent is apparently finding loopholes in rules sadly. I
think it is what drew me to law school in fact, the joy of
analysing a fact pattern or rules set and finding a way to reach
the desired end. It is oddly thrilling, in a tedious eye bleeding
from hours peering at a pile of paper sort of way.
I'm also pretty good at
computer games and various other
geekish persuits such as
RPGs and
strategy games.
The first things people usually notice about me
Zounds, no clue.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love
indian
food best probably. Nothing beats a good paneer makhani type
dish over rice. If only making/finding good paneer wasn't such a
pain in the arse. Generally though eating out is always fun, though
I love to try new things, I also have a habit of getting stuck in a
rut at particular places when I fall in love with a dish.
Reading is
probably my favorite way to spend an evening, and I'll generally
read anything I can get my paper cut covered hands on. Given a
choice though I tend to veer toward fiction and in specific sci-fi
and fantasy.
Terry Pratchett,
Kurt Vonnegut, and
even
Harry
Potter have consumed a good deal of time. I also have a strange
love of fanfiction, though also a burning rage for very bad
fanfiction.
Movies, I haven't been watching too many of late, which is
something I'd really like to change. Favorite is probably either
Garden State, Shawshank Redemption, or some cheesy 80's
movie.
Music wise, I'll listen to just about anything. From the pop
playing on the random station, to classical, to whatever odd things
NPR can throw at me. Generally, if it provokes an emotion via
lyrics or melody I'm sold. The two genres that tend to irk me are
probably rap and really twangy country. My mp3 list really has no
real rhyme or reason to it I realize now looking at it, it's rather
disturbing.
The six things I could never do without
My family for one. Critters, in specific my cat Suki. My computers
and the internets they are attached too have probably become more
important to me than is healthy. Daydreams. Tasty food. Something
to read/fiddle with so I can get to sleep (stupid insomnia).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If I remembered to lock the door or turn off the stove. Stupid
random anxiety attacks ;p Aside from those, I tend to do a lot of
daydreaming on a lot of random topics. Sometimes, they even venture
into the realm of the useful, such as ideas for work, or ideas for
something to write. Most of the time, I just think to keep myself
entertained.
On a typical Friday night I am
More often than not muddling about the apartment being rather
unproductive. Now and again I even make it out and do something ;p
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Yes, I'm one of those people who will occasionally carry on a
conversation with his cat. Wish I could figure out what she's
saying back, as I'm sure it's full of insight.
You should message me if
You feel like it I suppose ;p Always up for more people to chat
with, whether or not there is a romantic future in it or not.
