My Self-Summary
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
I'm also pretty good at computer games and various other geekish persuits such as RPGs and strategy games.
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Reading is probably my favorite way to spend an evening, and I'll generally read anything I can get my paper cut covered hands on. Given a choice though I tend to veer toward fiction and in specific sci-fi and fantasy. Terry Pratchett, Kurt Vonnegut, and even Harry Potter have consumed a good deal of time. I also have a strange love of fanfiction, though also a burning rage for very bad fanfiction.
Movies, I haven't been watching too many of late, which is something I'd really like to change. Favorite is probably either Garden State, Shawshank Redemption, or some cheesy 80's movie.
Music wise, I'll listen to just about anything. From the pop playing on the random station, to classical, to whatever odd things NPR can throw at me. Generally, if it provokes an emotion via lyrics or melody I'm sold. The two genres that tend to irk me are probably rap and really twangy country. My mp3 list really has no real rhyme or reason to it I realize now looking at it, it's rather disturbing.
