I am easy-going and I love spending time with a close group of friends and my family. I enjoy spending as many weekends as possible at the lake on my waverunner and I also spend a good deal of time at work. I am pretty shy at first, though my friends would tell you that once I get past the initial nerves, I am very outgoing.

I have a fulfilling career, a great family, and a group of friends that mean a great deal to me and the only thing lacking is someone to share it all with. I am not looking for perfection, I am looking for the perfect guy for me. I have some quirks, as we all do, and I look forward to discovering those quirks in my partner. I strive to be the best person that I can be, in all aspects of my life. The best daughter, sister, friend, professional, and hopefully someday; wife and mother.

So now, the quick summary - I am a TiVo junky, I adore netflix, reading, and music of all varieties. I have a spoiled cat, I love sports - mainly baseball - Cubs, college football Notre Dame (and please don't tell me how overrated they are - or how bad they suck this season), NFL Chicago Bears, a good wine, a nice dinner, a cold beer on a hot day. I live for a comfy pair of jeans, a great pair of shoes and a nice bag. Spending a day at the park or six flags with my niece and nephews - open to close with as many coasters as possible. I enjoy a night out with the girls, a summer afternoon BBQ, a day in with a book or catching up on the TiVo, or a day on the water.

I am motivated, quirky, and honest

Working as a senior consultant for a software testing company - I get to try and break code for a living and I love it - most days. I just bought a new house, so when I am not working (or out playing), I am settling in and trying to get the house just right.

Quite a few things, actually...Trying to live life to the fullest. Not dwelling on the negative and being proactive about changing something that I am not happy with. I am really good at what I do for a living, and I love it, so that helps. I am good with kids and few things make me happier than my spending time with my brother's or my friends' kids.

My hair, my eyes and that I remind them of a blonde version of an early 90's television actress.

Books - Biographies and Autobiographies, all things Dean Koontz, Tom Clancy, Stephen King, and for a guilty pleasure - Danielle Steel or Jackie Collins.

Movies - Love cheesy movies and a good comedy, musicals, and an excellent drama. From the cheesy - Footloose, Grease, Dirty Dancing (all the classic chick flicks of the musical variety). Comedy - Big Daddy, 40 year old virgin, wedding crashers, Meet the Parents. Some of my other favorites - Oceans 11, Brokeback Mountain, Shawshank Redemption, Cinderella Man, Rudy, Mr. and Mr. Smith, Garden State, The Bourne Identity and Supremacy, Shrek, Reality Bites, Say Anything, Wild Things, and Chasing Amy.

TV - TiVo is my friend, and that allows me to be the TV junkie that I am - Favorites are Nip/Tuck, Sopranos, Saved, Big Love, Entourage, Las Vegas, Survivor, the Closer, House, Grey's, ER. My guilty pleasure is Extreme Makeover Home edition, and I adore TVLand 80s sitcoms (though I am very disturbed that those are now considered classic television). I also have a weakness for wholesome family dramas (think Little House on the Prarie, 7th Heaven, the Waltons, Eight is Enough...lame, I know). I am against reality television on principal, but I will admit I have been sucked into a few...So you think you can dance, Dancing with the stars.

Music - Far too eclectic, my ipod has over 4,000 songs, and I still have about 50 cds to put on there. Here are some favorites - Elvis, Ricky Nelson, Beatles, BeeGees, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Green Day, Live, 70's and 80's country, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, 80's pop, Metallica, Jimmy Buffett, Meatloaf, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Everly Brothers, Aretha Franklin, Barenaked Ladies, Alanis Morissette, Billy Joel, Elton john, CCR, Dido, Mellencamp, Aerosmith, Black Eyed Peas, Nickleback, No Doubt, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Eminem, and Prince...to name a few.

Foods - Mexican the hotter the better, a great salad, carbs are not my friends so all things sugar free and whole grain, Diet Coke, Shrimp, cheese, onion rings, pub rolls, and ice cream (sugar free, of course).

My future and the direction that my life is heading - oh yeah, and that lottery win. Actually, my mind is always going...it is almost impossible for me to shut it down. Right now I am thinking about fundraising for a friend of mine who is fighting cancer, decorating my new house, is it Friday yet?, what am I doing this weekend?, what should I write here?, I wonder how traffic is on 285?, ....etc...

Usually at the "garage" (you will have to ask about that), with my friends having beers, snacking, playing video poker or Ms. Pacman, maybe throwing darts or playing pool or cards. Kids are sometimes running around and there is usually a dog or two as well.
