I decided to clear all my answers to the questions and start over.
I orginally decided that I would start a new profile but I really like many of the people who have saved me as a favorite and I don't want to start over on saving my own favorites.

I am young at heart, and yet mature enough to know who I am.

I like to have fun, and I like to have serious conversations.

I would like to get to know myself better by understanding others.

I was born and raised in Minnesota, but am not Minnesota nice. I am both passionate and compassionate, you will know where I stand, but I will not try to say hurtful things.

I talk with my hands, I do not know ASL. I'd like to.

Once I know someone I open up quickly, and can talk quite a lot.

I am ready for the second act of my life.

I was married with children for 22 years and for reasons that are way too complicated for this space, that is no longer the case.

My youngest son just graduated from High School and is on his way to culinary school and hopefully a happy life.

I was a stay-at-home parent. I volunteer with some organizations that are generally considering liberal. I am a liberal democrat, if you are a conservation republican it is doubtful that we will get along. I would love to debate issues with you in a respectful way, but I could not see getting involved romantically.

I am currently looking for employment as a paralegal or a legal advocate position.

I would like to meet new and interesting people. One can never have too many friends.

I'm really good at things that I am passionate about.

Life is about balance. My strengths are also my weaknesses, and my weaknesses are my strengths.

I think I will change this to six things I need in a partner.

1)Dependency: I need someone who responds to the fact that I enjoy the reassurance of physical contact and emotional sharing, but who helps keep dependency in check in the relationship so that you we do not lose our identities as individuals and whose character is deserving of our loyalty and affection.

2)Intimacy: I need someone who believes and acts on the belief that the intimacy of a relationship is sacred.

3)Relationship: I need someone who is not looking to be taken care of, but rather who is realistic about the hard work it takes to build and maintain a stable and satisfying relationship.

4)Sex and Love: I need someone who regards sex as a meaningful bond between people in love and who believes that the best kind of love grows out of a strong friendship.

5) PDA: I need someone who can express affection openly and directly – such as spontaneous compliments, daily “I love you’s,” occasional notes for you to find and recognition of your achievements, someone who can show affection in ways other than just physical contact – such as frequent tickles, constantly holding hands, public hugs and kisses or light touches as s/he passes by.

6) Communication: I need someone who seeks to understand you, thereby accepting an equal share of responsibility in maintaining open and honest communication in the relationship.

My mind is all over the map. If you are a lively conversationalist, I will be spending time thinking about what you have said.

I keep my mind open to new ideas.

This changes all the time.

Sometimes there are a lot of people around, sometimes a few friends, sometimes one other special person, and sometimes I am by myself.

I can be alone without being lonely.

I like dancing, eating, watching movies, and cuddling.

I should probably use this space to be out and proud.

I am a post-op trans-woman. It is a part of who I am, it is not the most important thing about me. Like everyone I am unique. Hopefully I will discover your uniqueness as you discover mine.
