My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a newly-licensed attorney practicing tax law (No, I won't give you free legal advice).

I love music. See my interests below. I'll never turn down a chance to see a live show.

I adore theatre and haven't had my performance fix since college; as a result, I sing along to the radio far too loudly and have been known to grab a hairbrush and belt now and again (I promise I won't do it in public). I went to college in Chicago and get back to that lovely city as often as I can (SpiritAir is my new best friend). I studied political science, theatre, and chemistry as an undergraduate and, upon graduation, promptly forgot everything I ever learned in a lab setting. Oops.

I love good grammar and appropriate punctuation. I could do crossword puzzles for hours-- I'm not great at the New York Times puzzles, but I'm working on it.

I'm a girlie girl, but I'm grounded. I read my InStyle Magazine and Minnesota Bench & Bar, I go to the mall and the bookstore, and my favorite websites are Perez Hilton and The Guardian. I'd rather watch The History Channel than MTV, but I'm a sucker for Top Chef and Project Runway.

I am very liberal and my political beliefs are deeply-rooted. I put my theatre training to good use volunteering at phone banks for the 2010 and 2012 elections. Wanna toughen your skin? Work a DFL phone bank in one of Minnesota's wealthiest suburbs. Incidentally, I now have a newfound appreciation for quirky voicemail greetings.

Despite being a girlie girl, I have an eternal love for NFL football. I watch the combine on the NFL network and get draft updates on my phone. I'm a die-hard Colts fan and it broke my heart when Peyton left, but I still adore him and start him almost every Sunday in one of my fantasy leagues. As a direct result of my 5 years in Chicago, I hate the Bears with a fiery passion. Because there is nothing that will make one hate Chicago sports more than living in Chicago.

Someday, I hope to be a successful attorney, pay off my student loans, and enjoy season tickets to the Guthrie Theatre.

I am also a fan of emoticons. It was difficult to abstain from using them until now. :)

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
