My self-summary Propose an edit

I hate those things. Writing about yourself gets so tedious, doesn't it? Anyway. I'm 22 years old and have been living in Canada since 2006. I grew up near Hamburg, Germany, and miss it a bunch.

I love computers, my friends (especially my best friend whom I've known for 14 years), drawing and painting (mainly digital art with my amazing wacom tablet), photographing, music (couldn't live without it) & movies. I also play World of Warcraft and am of the belief that Portal > everything. /geek

I'm also happily taken, sorry guys!

I'm a dreamer at heart. I love reading, it encompasses my mind. It's incredibly hard to get my attention when I'm lost in a good book.

I'm easy to get along with. I despise attention whores and men that think they're God's gift to women and if you're neither, you're probably ok in my book.

I have a good sense of humor and am surrounded by quick-witted friends, so that keeps me on my toes. I like being spontaneous and I love the outdoors and going camping (provided I'm in good company) in summer.

I want to see the world. Traveling makes me happy and feel at peace. Not much in life beats being on a plane as it takes off and watching the world get smaller and smaller, or watching a sunset from above the clouds. My biggest goals are visiting New Zealand, Japan and Egypt right now, but there's lots of other places further down on the list.

I take some sort of camera everywhere I go.

I have recently become obsessed with penguins. That means I have a bunch of penguin plushies, penguin key chains, a penguin desktop for my PC, cell and PSP, and bunch of penguin panties and a penguin suit for my cat. (Okok, j/k on the last one.) Either way, penguins rock my world.

I'm agnostic. I love my life, I love my friends and that's all I need to make this lifetime a memorable stay.

If you want to contact me, keep in mind I'm 22. If you could easily be my dad, age-wise, it's really quite creepy to hit on me and I'll be staring at my screen with a raised eyebrow, delete the message, and move on with my life.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Back in Germany I studied graphic design, the move got in the way. As such, I'm only working part-time right now but aiming to combine this with going back to college quickly.

I also work as a German administrator for Okcupid. Yup, this very site.

Drawing, photography, listening, giving advice, being a WoW encyclopedia (lovingly dubbed Thottbot as nickname), shopping (I had to smuggle something stereotypically female in there), grammar & languages, writing and making sense.

Physically? Well, we're talking about first impressions, so it has to be physical, doesn't it. Most likely my hair/eyes. I tend to get random comments from strangers about those parts.

I'm also pretty clumsy, so if someone catches me running into a mailbox, they'd probably notice that first.
