Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I feel very blessed in my life - whether it be my fun and
supportive family, great friends, silly dog and an enjoyable
career. I always try to find the positive in every situation and
not stress over the small stuff... only during Redskin and Virginia
Tech football games.
Born and raised in Alexandria, my parents had season tickets to the
Redskins for 40+ years. Sundays growing up were spent with family
at RFK and FedEx cheering on the burgundy and gold and singing the
fight song. Yes, I know all the words! Even the second verse which
is always fun to watch Redskin fans fumble through it... no pun
intended. (Don't let my enthusiasm for sports fool you, I do like
doing girlie things. I was just the high school cheerleader that
actually knew if it was offense or defense.)
I love to travel and explore, especially to places abroad. Each
year, I like to get a new stamp in my passport. Last year Scotland,
this year Croatia! You learn so much about yourself when you
experience new cultures and ways of life. You also learn not to
take the things you have for granted... and not to pack so much. I
always strive for a carry on, guys!
I also like to spend time with my niece and nephew. I’ve enjoyed
watching them grow into young adults and have learned so much from
them... especially what cool iPhone apps I need to download.
I am having an amazing journey in this life so far and look forward
to hopefully sharing it with someone who is fun to be with, has a
sense of humor and can laugh at themselves. We inspire each other
to go after our goals in life and be better people. You are someone
who challenges and respects me. You also like to try new things,
but still enjoy doing the things that make you happy. You shouldn't
be afraid to say what you're thinking and be yourself. You like
dogs especially a six year old adopted puggle named Desmo. You're
considerate, honest, a gentleman and are looking for a fun,
fulfilled life filled with laughter, love, travel and some

"In Defense of Food" by Michael Pollan. I'm trying to cook more and
get away from processed foods. Now that I have a dog, I'm reading
"Cesar's Way" by Cesar Millan. I also enjoy reading newspapers and
magazines. I subscribe to "The Washingtonian" to keep up on all the
good DC scoop, restaurants and events.
HBO Series, especially Game of Thrones. And, can't leave out
Homeland on Showtime. So good!
Downton Abbey - Maggie Smith's character is the best.
A bit of everything depending on mood: jazz to alternative to
classic rock to old school hip hop. Wiki Wiki! Thanks to my niece,
she's getting me into country music.
Love all food, except peas. Sushi is my favorite. Wasaaaabi!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family & Friends (at this age, some of them are both)
and the Hokies!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Should I stay at my full time job or go back to consulting? I miss
the flexibility; however, I love the stability I get from a full
time job. What to do...
I also think about how lucky I am.... to be healthy, the places
I've traveled to and the friends I have in my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either at the gym, beat from the work week and taking it easy on
the couch with my dog, or enjoying the beginning of the weekend

meeting someone that is ready to date, actually read my profile (on
this site, it can be tough), not all their pictures are selfies
