I'm energetic, caring, at times sensitive, and always open minded. Some have dared to call me fun! 😏 Looking for a relationship with someone who is thoughtful, enjoys conversation on a variety of topics, likes to take the initiative when dating, and has a sense of humor. Hey, just being honest which, by the way, is a quality I also greatly admire. 😊
Some things I enjoy are spending time with family and friends, NPR in the morning, the beach in the summer, museums and Starbucks in the winter, cooking, a good horror movie, reading, hiking, and taking photos of this beautiful world!
Full disclosure...extreme sports are not my thing though I wouldn't mind watching you as you plummet from overhead... safely of course. And I would be thoroughly impressed! Also I have cats so hopefully you aren't allergic. By the way they are super friendly. 😽
What I’m doing with my life
Teaching high school social studies and enjoying my time off.
I’m really good at
Listening and... .... ....procrastinating. :)
The first things people usually notice about me
My bubbly personality and green eyes
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like entertainment that takes me out of my everyday life so maybe don't judge me too much by some of the trash I enjoy...just deal with it! 😏
I also like smart dialogue!
Thrillers/Horror: James Bond, Taken, Underworld, Tron, Paranormal Activity, Halloween, Saw, superhero movies are fun too!
Comedy: Bridesmaids, Zombieland, and most 80s movies
Girly movies: Dirty Dancing, Twilight, Love Actually, and Say Anything
Books: mostly historical fiction or crime/mystery novels. Once in a while a good romance story. I also have a subscription to New York magazine.
T.V.: My current faves are How to Get Away with Murder, Mom, New Girl, The Big Bang Theory, Vampire Dairies, Royals, Chasing Life, Big Brother and The Good Wife.
Music: It varies but most top 40 and classic rock right now.
I enjoy must kinds of food: sushi, italian, Thai, BBQ, French, Mediterranean, and a really good slice of pizza or cheeseburger now and then.
The six things I could never do without
1. Icecream (is it bad I put this first)
3. My cell phone
4. My friends and family (is that two things)
5. Music in the car
6. Coffee in the morning
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm going on my next vacation (Scotland and Ireland this summer!), what I'm teaching tommorow, will the Mets ever have another winning season (a recent YAY), the meaning of life...You know, the little things...whatever pops into my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually grabbing a drink or dinner with friends. Sometimes home
cooking and watching t.v.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can sing the words to way too many '50s and '60s rock and roll songs thanks to long family car trips as a kid.
