I dislike that this thing is called an essay... it sounds too much
like work. Anyway, I never know what to say in these things so I
suppose I'll just steal from the example:
Hello everyone! Nice to meet you (sort of)! I do not have a job in
Albuquerque but I did just learn the proper way to spell
Albuquerque! So that's exciting. :) I enjoy driving around
aimlessly while listening to music of any kind (though I do
love me some Dresden Dolls, Decemberists, A Perfect Circle, and
basically any kind of broadway play...) I tend to write and paint a lot but my passion above all other
things is singing.

What I'm doing with my life
I currently attend Montclair State University. I'm majoring in
English (don't ask me what I plan on doing with it... I have no
idea). I'm a licensed real estate agent and I do advertising for
three companies all owned by my boss. I hope to teach English
abroad for a year after I graduate.

I'm a writer and an artist. But I love to sing and I am good at it.
Night and day: I love to sing. Like Mary Poppins... without the
rosy cheeks and freaky handbag. I'm a fairly good mimic as well. I
can make myself sound (at least a bit) like Celine Dion, Whitney

Any book of poems by Pablo Neruda or Faiz Ahmed Faiz. I was never
big on poetry but those two poets have a true gift. I've never read
anything so beautiful. Salman Rushdie's "Shalimar The Clown." I
love pretty much anything Gregory Maguire writes...
I'm just going to throw this out there: THE DARK KNIGHT! Awesome freaking movie! Ok, I'm done. Um... Wall-E, Howl's Moving Castle, Hedwig and The Angry Inch, Quills, Moulin Rouge, Teeth, Zombie Strippers, Trainspotting, The Full Monty, V For Vendetta, 28 Days Later, Flushed Away, Victor Victoria, Hairspray, Rocky Horror, Princess Bride, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Pirates of the Caribbean (only the first one...), Men In Tights, etc.
I love Disney films... not recent ones, classic Disney, you know? The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Aladdin (1-3), Sleeping Beauty, I even liked Tarzan (shut up, you know he looked hot in that little loin cloth... surfing down those big branches... REAL men know how to take a splinter or two in the foot!)
I already mentioned some music but hey, I like being redundant: Amanda Palmer, The Dresden Dolls, The Decemberists, The Tigerlillies, Linda Eder, Edith Piaf, Hugh Panaro, Josh Groban, Andrea Boccelli, almost anything by Puccini (Turandot being my absolute favorite and you get extra special hotness points if you know the words to Nessun Dorma), some Gackt, The Pillows, like two songs from D'espairs Ray, a whooooole bunch of other stuff... I love music.
