What I’m doing with my life
I currently work at a residential facility for children with
psychological and behavioral issues. That is my day job, of course.
What I'd really love to be is an author. I spend a lot of my free
time working on poetry and novels in hopes of one day becoming
published. Here's hoping!
I’m really good at
I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. Isn't that the
saying? ^_^ The things I enjoy are writing poetry, reading,
painting pictures of squids and birds drinking from coffee cups
(yes I'm that silly) I really enjoy drawing anime characters
although I can't say I'm exactly GOOD at it. I've also been singing
since I was about 2 years old. I prefer to sing Jazz songs although
I'm not a huge fan of the genre...strange right? Either way, I
really enjoy the arts of all kinds. I've been told I'm really good
at listening to people when they're having a problem, and I find it
easy to make people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I asked my co-workers this question and they both immediately said,
"eyes." So I suppose I should put that in here first. But
personally, I think that I have a very outgoing personality. I'll
talk to anyone, and I usually have something in common with
everyone I meet. I think the first thing people notice about me is
that I'm very easy to talk to.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Favorite books would have to be House Of Leaves, Franny and Zooey,
Invisible Monsters, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Extremely Loud
and Incredibly Close, Blindness.
Favorite movies are Singin' In The Rain, Mulholland Drive, Wet Hot American Summer, The Life Aquatic, and Me You and Everyone We Know.

The six things I could never do without
my laptop, music, makeup, coffee, books, my cell phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I think about too much! I'm thinking about what I'm going to do on
my days off, which is usually sitting and relaxing at home with my
friends. I think about poetry and certain lines and how they flow
together. I think about music and cd's that I need to get. I think
about work and how I worry about the kids and hope they are making
good choices. I think about my future and where I want to be, and
how I'm going to get there.
On a typical Friday night I am
hanging out with friends at my apartment. Occasionally I am
writing, reading, or sitting at a coffee shop. I'm a homebody
comparatively speaking to bar-hoppers. I enjoy drinking but not in
a setting where my ass gets grabbed on a regular basis.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
