My Self-Summary
Hi everyone!
I'm just a small-town girl from Iowa. I graduated in December with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I just started my first full-time teaching job and am a third grade teacher. Despite all the planning time outside the regular school day, I love teaching and it is worth every minute. I love music and the outdoors and being around people that can make me laugh. My friends and family are the world to me, and I'm just looking for that special someone to fill in the missing pieces.

What I’m doing with my life
I'm a third grade teacher, which takes up a big chunk of my life,
but I make sure to make time for everything that's important to em.
A typical day for me involves teaching, working out--in the spring
I reached my goal of being able to run a half marathon (although I
have never competed in one, this was an awesome feat), and relaxing
or spending time with friends. I recently started "training" again
for a half marathon. This time I'm doing the "seasoned strider"
verson.
I’m really good at
Music..I've played the clarinet since 5th grade and started piano
before that. Although, I think more of my talents are in the
clarinet. Lately, I have been playing the piano more than normal
though.
Working with children..I spent last summer doing summer camp and I have always dreamt of becoming an elementary school teacher.

lol..It is probably that I'm short. I guess I don't usually ask

My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I just read Marley and Me..I really liked that book. I don't think
I could ever pick a favorite. I have alot of authors I like, I
guess. I am always open to trying new books..I love reading.
I like lots of movies. Usually I am drawn toward chick flicks and comedies, but there are some worthwhile action films. I like Sweet Home Alabama, and I know it's not a movie, but Grey's Anatomy is my favorite TV show right now.
I listen to lots of different music. I like alot of pop and country.
Mm..foods. I have too many to name. I have a major sweet tooth. I also love Fettuccine Alfredo at Olive Garden and Mexican foods.

Lately, just at home. Most of my friends aren't around so it's been
kindof dull for me. Otherwise, I like going to movies or hanging
out with friends.
