I'm an eccentric. Intellectual and creative. I have explored a lot in life and know myself rather well because of it. I'm a lone wolf, mostly... but friendly with a good ear and a lot of warmth in the right situation.

Working in healthcare, going to school to learn more medicine.

Probably that I'm helpful, cheerful, active, healthy, and earthy.

Some of my favorite authors are:Neil Gaiman, Ken Kesey, Terry Pratchett, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. I tend to be open to satire, wit, fantasy, and non-fiction based on whatever my latest interest is... this week I'm into hand embroidery and learning Latin.

Food - yes. I like food, watching food tv, talking about food, being a snooty food-eater, cooking food. I'm health-conscious, so I like to eat a lot of whole-foods and do a lot of baking fish and that sort of thing. I like hot drinks a lot (but they have to cool quite a bit before I drink them!)

Funny what a person can do without...

I suppose I'll side with Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy and say until I reach self-actualization I'll always have needs, but depending on what my fridge looks like... I'm inclined to forget about the 'deeper' things.

I do spend a lot of time thinking... sometimes to the point of getting in the way of 'doing'.

...open to suggestions. These days I tend to be working or at home, thrilled that I don't have to work... nose stuffed in some book. This should not suggest that that's the extent of my repertoire.
