I am Shy, Unusual, and Creative.

My Self-Summary

I am currently majoring in Theatre at the University of Oregon, trying to become a technician. Will explain what a technician does shortly.

I like Thunderstorms, Power Outages, Hot Fudge on Cold Ice Cream, Pets who love you no matter what, People who do the same, Romance Novels, Pondering the Existence of paranormalities, Photography, Kissing, Clothing fresh out of the Dryer, Horses and riding them, Waterfalls, Motzerella sticks, Martial Arts, Ballroom dancing, Creating in any medium possible, Tech work, Raves/Techno, Hikes where there is no discernable trail to follow, My sexy sexy Truck, Watching Movies, Guys with big arms, Playing games in the Dark, Sarcasm, Rainbows, Dirty Jokes, Potatoes in any form, Wrestling with Friends, Fuzzy animals, Sunsets, Camping, Fire, Cuddling someone who Cares about you, and so many more things it's ridiculous.

I don't like snakes, spiders, hospitals, liars, cheaters, when a candle wick burns down before the candle does, when a computer crashes and you lose all your work, getting up in the mornings, busy work, people who tAlK lyke this 2 U in texts or IMs, things that aren't what they appear, bitter ironies when they happen to you, movies with no solid plot, peppers, miscommunication, friends who aren't there for you when you need them, music with undiscernable lyrics, being sick, missing the bus, paying car insurance, taxes, and probably a good deal I forgot.

I'm dating EternalL0ve, whom I met on this site. He's my guy. :-)

What I’m doing with my life

Currently, mostly working on college and getting into my chosen career field.

Like I said, I want to become a theatre technician of some sort. This could wind up in a good deal of careers, such as working in an actual live theatre performance house, doing movie tech in Hollywood, traveling around with either a band or a group such as Cirque du Soliel, or it could be something a little further outstretched like working at Disneyland. This profession can be used all over the place, and it's so much fun! Tech includes: sets, lights, sound, writing, directing, producing, make up, costumes, choreography, and a lot more.

Aside from that, I want to own and train horses someday, and have at least a little land.

I have considered doing some part time writing or photography, because they are things that interest me.

I also am currently tossing around plans to open up a chain of nightclubs, since that would combine so many things I love to do.

I would like to travel some, most particularily to Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Italy, etc.

I’m really good at

Listening to other people's problems, and helping them work through them/cope/giving advice. Not really sure why. People just always start talking to me. I guess I make them feel comfortable.

Using sarcasm, though not always with the best timing...

Reading far more than is good for me.

Seeing every side of an issue, and possible solutions

Tech work

Knowing how long to put something in the microwave for. Except for frozen hamburger, which I never seem to get right. Sigh.

Comforting people

Coming up with creative ideas. (Though I don'y usually have the talent to go along with the imagination. They say you can learn how to paint and draw well no matter whether you were born with it or not, but I'm starting to doubt it.)

Planning things, or fitting a ridiculous amount of to-dos into a relatively scrunched time frame.

Along those lines, fitting a ton of camping gear into a rather small vehicle.

Re-wrapping a block of cheese so it doesn't dry out in the fridge.

Saying something without really saying it, or weasling out of answering a question without lying.

Picking up and giving non-verbal cues.

The first things people usually notice about me

Honestly, I wouldn't know. More often than not, people tend NOT to notice me. Not really sure why. At six feet tall, I'm rather hard to miss. So, that would be it I suppose. My height is quite noticeable.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:
By genre, romance mostly. I tend to get enough literary work in school, so here I list what I read for fun. I have however been known to read Shakespeare for fun. Anyway, yeah. Romance, (normal is ok, historicals are nifty, paranormal is SEXY), some fantasy/sci-fi. Aside from that, My junk mail and whatever articles are featured on the MSN homepage.

By Author, Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark-Hunter and BAD series), JR Ward (Black Dagger Brotherhood Series), Robert Jordan (Wheel of Time Series) Maggie Shayne, Angela Knight, and many more random books.

Movies: So too lazy to list actual titles. Genres shall have to suffice. Comedy, Romance, Romantic Comedy (Figures), Action, Aminated, Kids Movies, some well chosen musicals (Everybody has seen Grease at least once, right?), and probably more but whatever. Generally not to enthused about dramas, horror/gore flicks, war movies, stupidly cheesy spoofs, historical documentaries, and so on.

Music: I like tons of music, and I'm not picky by genre at all. I know more songs by hearing them than by band name, times about 20. I like pretty much all genres. I listen to rock, metal and techno probably the most. I also enjoy oldies, screamo, jazz, punk, country, and all sorts of things. Some favorite-ish bands (though it's so hard for me to qualify in that way) are Nickelback, Linkin' Park, Fratellis, Stone Sour, MCR, Rascal Flatts, Steve Miller Band, Brian Setzer, Bloodhound Gang, I could continue but won't. Want more detail than that, ask me.

Food: I'm not really picky. I tend to like most "American" food, and generally cultural foods as well. I have discovered I have no tolerance for Thai or Indian foods. Curry just scares me. But mostly, anything is chill. The only foods I really specifically don't like are Seafood (yes, all of it.) Peppers, Peanut Butter, and anything that looks like a comglomerate of stuff that someone threw in one bowl for a potluck. General rule of thumb for me: if I can't figure out what it is based on how it looks, or smells, or by asking the chef, 99% of the time, I won't eat it. Oh, I am also off fast food hamburgers due to some traumatizing Youtube videos. (Non-fast food are still amazing though!) Most of the time, if I think about what I'm eating, I won't be able to continue eating it. This happens most frequently with meat, but other foods too. Packaging plants are just disgusting, and I'd rather not know most of the processes used for certain food, or I'll have to stop eating all together.

The six things I could never do without

Imma skip the obvious shit like air and sustenance. And the sappy shit like love. I'll go with the logical stuff instead.

Well, there is really very little that I COULD NEVER do without.
Things I rather appreciate having:
Kitchen appliances
Cell Phone (Really, who wasn't expecting that)
Indoor plumbing, including hot water
My Truck
My Books
The miracle of the World Wide Web

That was 6, right? Cha. Like I said, could do without all those things. But if deprived for more than about 3 weeks, I'd start getting pretty testy.

I decided not to put people on that list, though I'm not really sure why. Family and Friends are always something to be appreciated though.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

lots of random stuff, I suppose

If paranormal things really exist
Where I'll be in ten years
When the world is going to end, and how
What happens to us after it does
If there is life on other planets
If each person has one destined soulmate or not
A good deal more that I'm too lazy to list here

On a typical Friday night I am

Jeez, I dunno. With my current schedule, working part of it. For the rest, it's a toss up. If I'm feeling introverted, I'm curled up with a good book, or watching a movie. If my friends happen to be in town, causing all sorts of ruckus till all hours of the night. If I'm feeling energetic, I'm dragging my friends to go raving, or to a ballroom dance, or take a Midnight joyride/drift, or God knows what. It's really rather impossible to predict. Have I mentioned lately that I'm quite multi-faceted? (Though these days it's called bi-polar, or multi personality eh?)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

*shrugs* Info on me tends to be either open for all to know, or reserved for VERY close friends/need to know basis. Not really middle ground stuff often.

I taught my cat how to do all sorts of tricks, more than most dogs know. The best were he could goaly for soccer, and he could dance quite nicely. (As long as I lead. I taught him some of the latin dances.) No, I can't show you. He got fat and lazy while I was at college, and now won't do it.

I have a secret fear that one day robots will take over the Earth.

I don't know if these really count as private, but it's the best I'm coming up with right now.

You should message me if

You actually read all of the above without being completely bored to tears, think we might actually get along, and aren't some creepy pervert stalker dude (not that this message will stop you if you are).

Message me if you have any questions about something on this page, or are curious about something I didn't put up.

Message me if you are looking for a friend, or you need someone to talk to. I listen well, and friends are always welcome.

Message me just for the hell of it, because you damn well feel like it.
