Hello! My name is Seán. Yes, the´ is supposed to be over the "a"; thats the true Gaelic way to spell the name. ANYWAY... I'm an Irish American that has lived in Florida all my life, particularly Central Florida. I was born and raised Catholic (and attended Catholic school for most of my pre-college years), and am a graduate of UCF with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media. In high school I was a rower on the crew team, but since that time I haven't played any sports or worked out much. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom house I bought in early 2009 near the Sea World area.

I work as a database administrator for a government defense contractor. As a Digital Media major Im really great with designing databases and other applications, but coming from a background in Computer Science I can code them too.

Rock Band. If I pick up a guitar controller, you'll be hardpressed to get me to put it down. I can also sing pretty well and will play the drums on occassion.

I'm also really good with computers. I've become "that IT guy" to some people, which can be a curse sometimes, but at least I know how to fix things when they go wrong.

My smile, easily. Other than that I really couldnt say.

Books:

I dont read too much. Ender's Game is probably my favorite book. I've read others in the series, Lord of the Rings, and some books based on Halo. Other than that, I'm not a reader, although I'm trying to read The Sword of Truth series as Ive been told reading helps you write better.

Movies:

Anything that is smart and fun to watch. I used to be pretty big on movies but most Hollywood films are lost on me these days. Im a pretty big fan of Hayao Miyazaki's films (Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke).

Television:

I absolutely love serialized dramas. 24. Lost. Veronica Mars. Heroes. House. I also love Futurama, Fraggle Rock and The X-Files.

Music:

Post rock and its subgenres (particularly ambient stuff and math rock). Prog and prog metal. Classical rock. These cover most of my musical preferences. Some of the artists I listen to are really crazy/bizarre (yet awesome) by mainstream standards. Practically none of my friends listen to most of the stuff I do, so I really dont get to talk about it much.

I'm a very picky eater. I cant really cook other than basic spaghetti, so my diet at home usually consists of Hot Pockets (I know), beefaroni, bagels or soup. I'll usually pick up something more healthy when I'm not eating at home. I absolutely hate salad, most vegetables (except potatoes and carrots) and raw fish.

watching television or playing a videogame. If enough friends arent working we'll probably go eat dinner somewhere then hang out at someones place. I'm also a season ticket holder for the Orlando Magic, so I hit up the home games while the season is in its run.

Im not a fan of the bar/club scene at all. Not my type of atmosphere. I'll drink on occassion, but I dont need alcohol to have a good time. Usually if I do, I strictly keep to white russians.

I pick my nose and feel good about it.
