My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I like to consider myself a very simple person, but apparently my friends disagree. You can generally find me wearing a suit and tie, even when I don't have to. I read a great deal and like to tell (bad) jokes. My instagram feed is largely filled with pictures of neighborhood cats and freshly baked bread, which is probably more telling than anything else. I just adopted a kitten, so I'm basically constantly in a state of adoring giddiness. She wears a bowtie. It's pretty amazing.

I'm looking to have meals, coffee, drinks, conversations, arguments and such with someone. Like most things, it's not really that complicated.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Writing stories, telling jokes, working too much, running far distances, petting cats, eating tacos, studying German, and using gerunds.

I also bake a lot of cookies. I'm really ready for it to be autumn already, so I can start making cold weather food.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making friends with cats. In truth, I am friend to all cats everywhere.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I returned to Portland in August after spending the summer in Alaska, so I suspect that people are noticing that I have survived multiple bear attacks [a friend added that part], or that I seem like the sort of person who can catch a fish (possibly with his bare hands) [friend again].

Generally speaking, probably that I am tall and dapper and saying humorous things in a deep voice.

I really, really like making my bed while my cat is still lying in it and then watch her burrow her way out. It genuinely makes me laugh.
