I've been single for the whole of twenty-four years, and not a day
goes by in which this state does not rouse a certain degree of
existential frustration. All things considered, I'm guilty of
upholding a lofty set of standards for the ideal woman, and it
would likely behoove me to descend a rung or two. Though I continue
to gripe about such matters, I've set out on something of a hero's
journey to find my better half, and it's better than settling for a
thousand incompatible partners....While I take some pride in the
fact that my standards have not lowered,this sense of virtue seldom
bears the capacity to diminish the pangs of loneliness.
