My self-summary
I am apparently a combination of Ron Swanson and Andy Dwyer from Parks and Rec. I'm also me, half Irish, lived between QLD and Victoria for most of my life. I eventually plan on packing up my belongings and moving to New York City, that place captivates me, the history, the culture, the music, the food, the people, it simply has me entranced.

I have a love/hate relationship with Triple J at the moment, they're really starting to sound like Nova way too much.
I suppose if I had to put into genres the music I like, it would be indie/alternative, electro and folk to be particular, music plays a massive part of my life and I don't think that will ever change. I have not been to anywhere near as many gigs as I'd like recently, so even if you're looking for just a gig buddy, hit me up :).

I am a part time drummer and bass player but I suck at both pretty bad, mainly due to a lack of practice I think, but I am in the middle of trying to set up a band with a bunch of incredibly dysfunctional uni students...oh the joy!

Currently my work is allowing me to save up for multiple things, including travelling to Northern Europe, the States and Japan. I also plan on finishing/adding to the now semi blank canvas of my arms, yes I have and am getting more tattoos, each one has a meaning and represents a part of my life journey to date.

I play Xbox a fair bit, anything from Skyrim or the Mass Effect series to mind numbing games like Forza and Madden. I love to draw, mostly fantasy art and comic strips, I can't draw anything that has a semblance of reality. Love Quentin Tarantino and Stanley Kubrick movies, but am also quite intrigued by horror movies, I can find enjoyment out of most movies, at least most aimed at an audience with an IQ above 75.

I have a somewhat left field sense of humour, I dig Sam Simmons and Tom Green, as well as TV shows like Wilfred, the IT Crowd, Mythbusters, Game of Thrones, the Walking Dead; and am getting myself started into a lot of other shows too.

I enjoy a bit of sport, Aussie Rules (GO BOMBERS!!!), Rugby Union and American Football.

I would say I'm an honest and caring person (sounds cheesy perhaps, but true), who can be quite affectionate with the right person and is still a hopeless romantic at heart. I'm definitely not a shallow person, I love and respect everyone equally for who they are, not what I assume them to be.

I believe that I am still a true gentleman at heart, ladies first, walking on the road side of a footpath, hat off in the presence of a lady, offering my jacket in cold or rainy weather and so on, such values have been instilled in me from a young age.

I must say that clubs, and the social blindness that goes with them, aren't really my scene, more of a pub or bar lad, much prefer a decent live band over blaring doof doof or chart "remixes", not to mention the ludicrous activities that go on within.

I don't smoke or do drugs, but I don't judge people who do, life is full of choices, so why judge people for them.

I also plan on studying to be a teacher some time in the near future, I never finished school myself but kids love me for whatever reason, and I want to try and give kids a better learning experience that the one I had.

I drive a prim and proper Corolla, well that's how it's meant to be, but I have added my own little personal touches to it along our travels (no I haven't put a fully sick bodykit or subwoofer on it :p).

There is plenty, plenty more to tell, but really, we must leave something for conversation mustn't we?

If you wanna know more just say hey and I'll be happy to chat =)
So thanks for checking me out =)
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I work as a slop drudge for a major telecommunications company, where I get paid to listen to people complaining that their home phone isn't working, and why I should rot in a cave because of it...But it pays well.

I'm also going to be studying Primary Teaching whilst juggling the drudge work, this is something I am massively looking forward to as I love kids, and kids seem to love me. If you were to ask me why I want to become a teacher, well I guess it's because I want to give the kids a shot at a better education experience than what I received.

Once the learnings of teachings have been completed, I wish to travel the world and teach wherever I'll be accepted, and then eventually settle back down here in Melbourne or move to New York.
I’m really good at
-Making everybody laugh, at my own expense
-Having far too vivid an imagination, whilst sober I can put someone on weed AND acid to shame
-Appreciating true beauty
-Being a verbal punching bag
-Being able to see both sides of every argument
-Being a mooter...look it up.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I have four eyes, or a red beard, or my tattoos, or that I'm a fat ass...I don't know, I'm not people.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Space, what is out there, surely we aren't alone.
Death, what actually happens after we die, to our soul.

Also less deep things like, planning my next tattoo, my virgin trip overseas and what I plan to do in the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well that depends, I could be working, could be reading, could be gaming, could be out, there is no such thing as "typical" in my life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to fall in love, hard.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–29
  • Near me
