My name's Mitchell... a former resident of Portland, Maine; and a former student at Ithaca College. Now just a guy living in New York City. I love meeting new people - and interacting - and making new friends. Perhaps that could lead to relationships, but I honestly would be flattered just to meet you. Doing the whole post-college thing and adjusting to life in NYC

As a person-in-the-real-world, I'm a freelance photographer and graphic designer, dabbling in jobs all over the place. Hobbies include working on long, ridiculous projects; gender studies and feminism; and picking up used copies of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" from bookstores

Listening, and being there at a moment's notice.

I'm also good at going on random tangents, getting lost, and going on long, rambly digressions

People say things about my eyes and my smile, but I'm usually too distracted by the fact that I forgot to shave my beard

Movies: I'm a database, according to everybody. But let's say Hal Hartley for now. "Henry Fool", "Trust", etc - his films are incredibly thoughtful, provocative, and entertaining. Never perfect; but what is?
I love food that's filling and shows that are entertaining/provocative. And I'm always down for pizza and "NewsRadio"
I love reading. Always have. I'm currently working my way through Bill Bryson's "Short History of Nearly Everything"
As for music, my preferences are very eclectic. Ranging from '70s classic rock (Derek and the Dominos) to '90s independent (Le Tigre)

Well, since we're on the subject - I work on a project where I take a photo of one different person per day. It's something I've been doing for four years now, without having missed a day. So... it's something I think about daily, and there's a chance I may bring it up :P
