My self-summary Propose an edit

I work at KSC, go to school at Barry and play on the computer at home. I walk, I yoga and I watch movies. I originally grew up in central California and moved to central Florida in the early 90's.

I like doing and seeing new things. Doesn't have to be anything spectacular. I just like eating at new places or visiting a town I've never been to or seeing a new kind of art I've never seen before. I was just as thrilled the first time I tried dinner at a Boston Market as I was when I had a fancy meal at my first Ruth's Chris! Heh!

I like easy-going folks that are open minded and don't let their ignorance dictate their beliefs. Intolerance (i.e. bigotry, fundamentalism and fanaticism), I think, are some of the worst sins we have going as a species.

Most of all, ya just gotta laugh. We are ALL pretty silly, ain't we?

Getting a BS in Information Technology! I walk, I yoga and I watch movies. I'm currently on a reading binge too.

I'm not sure what people usually notice first about me. I think that it's either my eyes or the hair. I have ALOT of hair! (On my head!) I get told that I look alot like Patricia Heaton from Everyone Loves Raymond. Go figure!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Fav books: To Kill a Mockingbird, LOTR & the Hobbit, Watership Down, Jane Eyre, A Tale of Two Cities, The Stand, Harry Potter, most auto-biographies and some "how it happened" type books like And the Band Played On and Helter Skelter. I like urban fantasy and Charles deLint alot too.

Fav Movies: The Lion In Winter, LOTR, Field of Dreams, While You Were Sleeping, About a Boy, Father Goose, The Philadelphia Story, It's a Wonderful Life, The Bishop's Wife... (Okay anything with Cary Grant or Jimmy Stewart). Harry Potter, The Matrix (1st one only), On Golden Pond, Return To Me, etc... There are so many!

Fav Food: Dark chocolate, seafood, fresh bread, a really good onion soup, cheeses, tiramisu, Pad Thai. I like to try something new and will try most any food at least once.

My friends, coffee & chocolate, my car, my 'puter, good wine and lotsa laughter.
