My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to Boston about 7 years ago. I love the hustle and bustle of the city which suits me because I am like the energizer bunny. I go and go and go until I fall asleep. I also like to push myself out of my comfort zone finding new hobbies, foods, music, and interests in general. I am a newbie climber and it's definitely helping me get over my fear of heights. I like to stay busy, but I am looking forward to the day where I can enjoy quiet time with someone special.

I am looking for a partner in crime for spontaneous weekend getaways to new cities, beaches, or quiet places, new adventures, exploring restaurants and hot spots, activities, and for someone who'd like to balance this out with nights in cooking dinner with a bottle of wine followed by a movie or documentary.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just started a new job outside the city designing corporate interiors for a relatively new company. Translation...I make offices pretty. I traded in my t pass for a car (thankfully not an even trade) and the corporate culture for the start-up feel where I feel like I can make a difference. I am passionate about what I do for a living and love going to work every day. Sometimes I wonder if I am having too much fun at work.

In my free time, I like to catch classes at the gym, catch up with my roommates/friends, and work on my graphic design projects. I also spend a lot of time building up my side business. I would love to quit my job, work for myself and be my own boss someday. I am currently designing a tattoo which is scary. My design will be on someones body for the rest of their life. No pressure there.

I read in someone's profile once that they wanted to be half of a power couple. I have to agree.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am good at keeping busy, active, sitting in traffic (as long as I have Spotify or satellite radio), lending an ear, enjoying the little things, and making the most out of life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People think I am either Irish or younger than I am. Even though I look that way and have a very Irish last name, I can assure you I am neither Irish nor lying about my age. Otherwise, people notice my smile and occasionally my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies
I am a sucker for a good romantic comedy. My favorite movies include the Proposal, Like Crazy, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, and or anything with Rachel McAdams or Kristen Belle.

TV
I keep myself really busy and I don't have much TV time. My list is all over the place, but would include something like Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Revenge, Bachelorette with my roommates, Portlandia.

Music
My taste in music is all over the place. Mostly commonly I listen to singer/songwriter, indie and EDM. A few of my favorites include James Morrison, Gavin Degraw, Sara Bareilles, Ben Rector, Andrew Belle, Good Old War, The Oh Hellos', James Vincent McMorrow, Miguel, Drake, Adele, ATU, Elizabeth Rose, Jessy Lanza, Letherette, Sam Smith, and the list goes on. This doesn't even cover my love to 90s R&B, 90s/2000s pop, and 60's, 70's, and 80's hits. I play music almost constantly.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from friends, family, and my career

Music (Spotify/headphones)
My sister/brother-in-law
Zumba Tuesdays where I've been called "Ms. Thang!"
Sunshine, sunscreen, and summers on the ocean
Bluetooth in my car
Pen and Paper
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1. Finding the perfect lyric to describe my day, mood, or situation.
2. Where I can find a new climbing partner.
3. How many of you I see at the rock gym and don't know it. The world isn't that big and occasionally I do recognize someone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Although no Friday night is typical, most commonly I am spending it with my sister/brother-in-law, back home visiting my parents for the weekend, out with friends, visiting family on the Cape, or enjoying a rare Friday night in with a glass of wine and a home cooked meal.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My college professor brought it upon himself to tell me to start drinking decaf before our 8am class. At the time, I hadn't even started drinking coffee yet.

At least 50% of the time I shop at gap, other shoppers will ask me questions thinking I work there. My usual response is "Sorry I don't work here." They then seem to feel bad for the mistake so I follow it up with "It's okay. I get that all the time."
