Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I've lived in Boston for over 7 years. I love the hustle and bustle
which suits me because I am like the energizer bunny, but with an
old soul. I drink coffee for the flavor, have too many hobbies than
I have time for, and I've seen Ben Folds, Sara Bareilles, Ingrid
Michaelson, and Jack White more times than any other artists. I may
look young and sweet, but I am also extremely driven. I know
exactly what I want out of life and I am trying to make the most
out of it. That being said, see below. :)
Wanted: Self-motivated and family-oriented partner in crime for
spontaneous weekend getaways to new cities, beaches, or quiet
places, new adventures, exploring restaurants, activities, and for
someone who'd like to balance this out with nights in cooking
dinner with a bottle of wine (or scotch), movie, music, or good
I read in someone's profile once that they wanted to be half of a
power couple and I have to agree.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Design is my passion. I am an interior designer specializing in
corporate offices and dip into some graphic/illustration work on
the side. I am also trying to merge the two worlds and create
graphics for interior spaces. So cool!
Work aside, I like to catch yoga/zumba classes at the gym,
cook/bake, try new restaurants/bars, and find new things to learn
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing is my most interesting talent, I've been told I'd make the
perfect girlfriend, and my cooking/baking skills aren't too shabby
either. I am also very good at enjoying the little things in life,
lending an ear, seeing the bright side, coming to the rescue, and
making the most out of my time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People think I am either Irish or younger than I am. Even though I
look that way and have an Irish last name, I can assure you I am
neither Irish nor lying about my age.
Between the red and the curls, strangers (both men and women!) have
been commenting on my "beautiful/nice" hair. For that...Thank you!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I need to make more time to read with all my side work and other
projects, but I really like books on personalities and the
occasional chick lit.
Although not limited to this, I am a sucker for a good romantic
indie film like Like Crazy, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, and In Your
Eyes just to name a few.
Orange is the New Black, Revenge, Downton Abbey, Portlandia, House
of Cards, Walking Dead, and Girls.
I play music almost constantly so my taste is all over the place. I
listen to singer/songwriters, indie and EDM as well as some oldies,
a bit of jazz, and 90s/2000s R&B and pop.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from friends, family, and my career
Zumba Tuesdays where I've been called "Ms. Thang!"
Sunshine and summers on the Cape
Pens/sharp pencils and Trace paper
Coffee (for the taste, but the caffeine is nice too)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What else I can learn to add to my bag of tricks?
How is anyone able to run through shin splints and how much would I
love to be a runner?
How many steps am I up to so far?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am either spending it with my sister/brother-in-law, back home
visiting my parents for the weekend, or out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Often while shopping at gap, other shoppers will ask me questions
thinking I work there. My usual response is "Sorry, I don't work
here." They then seem to feel bad for the mistake so I follow it up
with "It's okay. I get that all the time."
I've been listening to a lot of Meghan Trainor lately and I
jokingly want to follow up my "you should message me if" section
with "you are all about the bass".
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Message me if you love what you do for a living, like to keep
busy/active, if you are a genuine fun loving person, understand the
importance of family, want to push eachother out of our comfort
zone, are okay being schooled by a girl in table tennis, and if you
would enjoy going on a 6 mile walk just to get outside and enjoy
