My self-summary
I tend to think of myself as a free-spirit, yet still pretty grounded. I am whatever I want to be. Between music, movies, food, and most other things in life, there are few things I don't like and my interests span a broad range. Often times unless I really hate something, I like turning the things I dislike into things I love.

Although I am very mature, I can just as easily be a complete goofball around the right company. I feel most like myself to the latter. I can be a thrill seeker one day, artist the next, or the business type on any given day. I have many hobbies, most of which are creative, so life is rarely dull.

I have an up beat, positive personality and am always smiling. I am a night owl, am constantly moving, and on most days, I like to fit in as much as I can. At the same time, I can just as easily relax, have fun, and sit back and smell the roses.

Also, if it matters to you, I am an INFP. The "idealist" description is spot on by the way.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an interior designer specializing in corporate interiors. In my free time, I like to catch classes at the gym, work on my own art/design projects, and learn something new every day.

I keep pretty busy, try to get out as much as possible, and am always trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. I might not be up for jumping off a bridge, but I am up for walking out the door not knowing what the day will bring.
I’m really good at
I am good at creative projects, drawing, talking a lot and quickly, and going with the flow. I like to cook and bake if I have the time, but my recipes, although tasty, won't be winning any awards in the traditional sense.
The first things people usually notice about me
People think I am Irish. Even though I look that way and have a very Irish last name, I can assure you I am not. Otherwise, people notice my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I just started Why Him, Why Her? by Helen Fisher. It's about finding your match based on your genetic personality. I have always been interested in how and why we are who we are.

I like dramas and comedies the best, but I can be down for an action film or documentary with the right company. I don't seek out horror films, but as long as I am allowed to close my eyes during the really gruesome parts, I will be just fine! A few of my favorites include the Proposal, Like Crazy, and My Girlfriend's Boyfriend.

I have only been able to keep up with a few shows lately. When I have the time, I can be found watching Parenthood, Orange is the New Black, Portlandia, and Downton Abbey. I have just recently started House of Cards and I am sort of obsessed.

I spend 90% of my day listening to music so I listen to a wide variety of music. Depending on my mood, you might find me listening to 60s, 70s, and 80s hits, R&B, and occasionally top 40 or 90s pop if I care to take a stroll down memory lane. Most often, I am drawn to the indie singer-songwriter type yet lately have been getting into some EDM. It's easier to say I don't like heavy metal and hardcore rap. You might as well accept now that I will break out dancing in the kitchen to some Justin Timberlake or those catchy Michael Jackson tunes on occasion.

I live off fruit, yogurt, potatoes, and chicken, but if I had to pick my favorites, I would have to say french fries, chocolate milkshakes, pizza, and a cannoli from Mike's Pastries in the North End.
The six things I could never do without
Aside from friends, family, and my career

Music (Spotify/Pandora and my beats headphones)
Papermate Flair pens and Post-it Notes
Nice long showers after good workouts
Sunshine and sunscreen!
The ocean
A goal or plan
I spend a lot of time thinking about
No 1. What new things I can do for the hell of it. For example, I've started learning how to write with my right hand and upside down with my left. A pen in my right hand still feels wrong, but I'll give it time.

2. When am I going to have extra time to learn to play the piano, learn French, or create my own typeface or two?
On a typical Friday night I am
I can honestly say I don't have a typical Friday night. Most frequently it consists of working or dinner/drinks with my friends or family, but I like to mix it up.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My college professor brought it upon himself to tell me to start drinking decaf before our 8am class. At the time, I hadn't even started drinking coffee yet.
