I am lonely, pathetic, and needy.

My Self-Summary

OK, the headline adjectives should have already been recognized as sarcasm. if you are looking for lonely, needy pathetic men you definitely should keep on looking. What is the matter with you anyway? That's just weird!

Here you get independent, passionate, ambitious, convivial, high energy but pretty laid back. Moments of acute laziness can come at anytime without prior notice but I am usually on the go and overbooked. Proficient enabler here - don't be an ex drinker, ex gay, etc if you wanna stay sober. I warned ya!

I change from clean shaven to a beard and all in between fairly consistently. I am usually in pretty good physical shape, and work at it like a good boy but it is not even close to the main focus of my life. I plan on aging well.

As somewhat of a guys guy, I am attracted to masculine personalities pretty much exclusively - but I'll hang out with anyone cool/interesting. I can be pretty boisterous so I prefer strong personalities to balance me out.

I am actively looking for friends, drinking buddies, lovers. If something greater comes along, bring it. In my opinion, life is a good thing, it's meant to be savored and shared.

...incidentally Moms love me. I can be cleaned up and brought home.

What I’m doing with my life

If I am not at work my number one priority is to have fun. Period.

I balance a decent career with a lot of socializing, travel, family time and a passion for songwriting and recording. If I am not out doing something with friends, or traveling somewhere, I am probably home in my recording studio trying to get a song to sound just right. Occasionally you may find me passed out in front of the TV. And when I get the chance I will sleeeeep in. God I love sleeping in.

Basic ingredients to a happy Marshall: skiing, hiking, sailing, kayaking, drinking in the sun, music played loud, singing in the car, and most summer outdoors stuff. Rock and roll shows, barhopping, Sunday drives, friends, friends, friends. Tropical trips in winter. Playing the piano. Good wine. good beer. Foooood. Mmmmm, food.

I’m really good at

Debate, driving, Crash Bandicoot from the original PS, skiing, music trivia, gardening.

The first things people usually notice about me

The halo. My Mensa pin. The horse.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Smoking Gun, The Onion, The Sound & The Fury, Plague Dogs, Confederacy of Dunces, Fisher's Hornpipe, A Man in Full, the Bluest Eye, David Sedaris.

Big Lebowski, Airplane(s), After Hours, Pulp Fiction, Bladerunner, The Hunger, Best In Show, Mullholland Drive, Serial Mom, Braincandy, Stop Making Sense, 16 Candles, Finding Nemo, Life of Brian, Empire Strikes Back, Sybil, Children of Men, First Blood, Second Skin, The Third Man, 4 Weddings and a Funeral, 5th Element, 6th Sense, 7th Samuri, 8 Mile, 9, 9 and a half weeks, 10.

Food and I go way back. I will eat anything, including brains, but will default to sushi or steak when indecision rears its head.

Obvious Literal Answer: body, soul, earth, sun, air, water

Basic Cherished Things Answer: music, sex, friends, family, love, health

I spend a lot of time thinking about

On a typical Friday night I am

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I really don't like the word "doily"
