My self-summary
Hi, my name is Matthew. I'm just going to keep this basic since the questions have already covered most of this, and that I tend to have a habit of turning things into a monologue. I'm currently studying Performing Arts at York College and I'm hoping to work in the industry in some form, most likely as an actor and a writer but I'd love to dabble in the other areas too.

I can be quite an active person and if I tend to sit still for too long then it literally physically hurts me, so I'm normally moving around quite a lot or playing with random objects to distract myself.

I love long walks, whether by myself or with other people doesn't really matter as long as I'm exploring and going somewhere new to me. If someone does go along with me then fully expect me to grab your hand and pull you off in random directions I'm interested in (Just a warning), I tend to more decide what I'm doing and where I'm going on the spot instead of planning things out, I find it more interesting that way.

I come from quite a large family (4 siblings and technically 3 parents), of which I'm the youngest, I'm also suprisingly shy around my family and I tend not to talk to them much unless they talk to me first.

Actually, that's a slight lie, I'm shy around quite a lot of people and it's not really suprising in the least. I can normally hold myself together around individuals I don't know well, but if it's a group then I tend to distance myself from them as much as I can.

I'm also incredibly geeky, and the best way to start a long conversation with me is to talk about my favorite tv shows/games/films ect. I could end up talking with you for hours on what I think about them and how awesome they are.

I am the most stupidly awkward and accidental person you could ever meet, and the worst part is that I don't even know I'm doing it until people comment on it. I've been known to get my hand trapped in a bush and had to explain to several passing people that there was a perfectly good reason why I was arm deep inside a hedge. I've also been known to somehow manage to get from writing things down whilst completely okay, to twisting my ankle and poking myself in the eye within 5 seconds.
What I’m doing with my life
I'll still be on this course up untill July, at which point I'm moving out and starting a film company with two of my friends, which I'm greatly excited for. I also plan on travelling at some point, it's been a dream of mine for a while to see as much as the world as I can since I haven't really had the chance when I was younger, it's just waiting for the right time to eventually do it.

I've recently decided to make the commitment to do several things that I've always wanted to get in touch with over the years but I haven't really involved myself with. This does tend to range from 'read more' to 'travel to every county I can', so I don't really expect them all to actually happen but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I've decided to start with learning the Ukulele from scratch for some reason... So far I pretty much have the Adventure Time theme song and a hatred for several chords, I expect this to take a while.
I’m really good at
I really don't know what to say for this. I hope that I'm good at writing and acting since I'm dedicating most of my life towards them and thinking of a new plan now would just be tedious.

I suppose that I'm hopefully really good at caring for people (to the point where I have been told off by people for being "too nice", which I found to be a very odd statement), I tend to try my hardest to make sure that everyone is okay before I even consider myself, which I honestly think is normal for a person to do, and I don't really understand why people point it out.

Honestly, I really can't think of anything I'm good at so I'm leaving a list of 5 things for my friend to fill out:
1. Writing
2. Looking after people
3. Falling over random objects
4. Making up something philosophical by accident
5. He's suprisingly intuitive
The first things people usually notice about me
I think the most obvious thing people tend to notice is the fact I usually wear suits (or at least a shirt and tie), no matter what the occasion is. I can't really think of anything else that stands out, although when I get nervous I tend to speed up when I talk and drift randomly between subjects mid-sentence, I then tend to stop talking in order to stop doing this, which makes me look even more like an idiot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Gah! There's so much I want to put in here, I have no idea which one's I should add, I blame Netflix entirely for this.

Books: His Dark Materials series, The Hunger Games series, anything by Darren Shan, Game of Thrones, The Zombie Survival Guide, anything comic related (especially by Grant Morrison or Alan Moore, although I've fallen out with his later works), and anything by Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchet or H.P Lovecraft.

Movies: A Nightmare Before Christmas, The Evil Dead franchise (I have a soft spot for them), Back to the Future, anything Pixar (except Cars), James Bond, Leon, and the Dark Knight Trilogy, a lot of classic movies like Blithe Spirit, a lot of superhero movies. I love any movie that can make me cry or has a really deep plot. I'd say that my favorite film has to probably be The Fifth Element, which is purely due to nostalgic reasons more than the film itself, but it's still a good movie.

Shows: Doctor Who, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Peep Show, Avatar (TLA and LOK), Adventure Time, I was recommended Once Upon a time which I now have a soft spot for, Scrubs.

Music: I don't really have anything in particular I enjoy most, I like listening to anything nerdy or ochestrated, I also enjoy listening to Musicals like Les Miserables. If I like how it sounds then I will listen to it over and over again.

I know there isn't a section for games, but I felt I needed to say that my favorite one is a game called To The Moon, of which none of my friends will play and it annoys me, so if you have played it and want to talk about it with me then it'll be awesome!
The six things I could never do without
1. My friends
2. My dog
3. Books
4. Films and plays
5. The internet
6. Writing stories
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I tend to overthink pretty much everything, which I don't really like doing so I then tend to think about not overthinking about things.

A lot of the time I think of new story ideas and which format I can use them in, of which I then proceed to sideline when I think of a new story idea a few seconds later.

I plan out entire conversations in my head that I have with my friends, then get somewhat annoyed when they don't go as planned.

I think the thing I tend to think about most is whether my work is good enough to hand in or if I've made a mistake somewhere, I'm a really big perfectionist so I panic a lot about my own work and what I do in life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either hanging out with my friends, planning my next project, procrastinating when I get bored of planning my next project, watching a variety of things on netflix, or calling my friends to ask why we're not hanging out tonight.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I tend to be as honest as I can, to an extent of course, if you want to know something then feel free to ask me.
