My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have a three year old son that lives with his mother. I enjoy every moment I am able to spend with him. I haven't dated much at all. I'm a geek. I like geeky and nerdy things. I like to watch Firefly and Doctor Who and I like to play various types of games in my free time. I'm looking for friendship that could possibly turn into more. I have a full time job and I enjoy what I do, most of the time. I'm a kid at heart, but I do know when it's time to be all growed up, too. I also enjoy reading science fiction and fantasy. I'm mostly quick witted and enjoy laughing, even if it is at myself. If you can't laugh at yourself, do you really have the right to laugh at someone else? I try to enjoy life as much as possible. We only have one go around so wE have to make it as full of life, love and happiness as we can.
and if it matters, I am an ISFJ, the Nurturer/Protector.
PS. I enjoy cooking.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working, playing, and enjoying time with my Shrimp. It's amazing how one little life can change everything.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Saying odd stuff? Making jokes and quips that get a laugh when someone else repeats it. Pretty good at that.
The first things people usually notice about me

I don't know. My smile maybe? I've never really asked that before so I don't really know. I've been told I'm pretty funny, so maybe you'd notice me talking to friends and see them laugh.

wow. Most of the stuff by Heinlein, Alan Dean Foster, Isaac Asimov, Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn is an awesome series. It's the gateway books to more Sanderson), Piers Anthony.... and so so many more.

Movies, the Professional, Serenity, The three Star Wars movies (and the prequels, other than JarJar...), Star Trek movies, Action, SciFi, Fantasy... How to Train Your Dragon is always fun to watch, as is Brave. Barely even scratching the surface here.

Shows... Firefly, Star Treks, Suits, Weeds, Hemlock Grove on netflix, that Doctor something or other, Monty Python and the whatever they did, I really liked Strange Luck (another of Foxs' gems that they ruined). I like some drama, not really into cop stuff, but i do like Bones a lot. Buffy, oddly enough, i don't think i've ever seen Angel. I've watched all of the Guild online, and most of Journey Quest.

I love food. I love experiencing new places and new cuisines. Indian, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Fair Food (Deep fried butter? really?), Ethiopian, Cuban... mmm.... and sushi... so much goodness in those things. Mediterranean, Persian... German food...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My son
My family
Eating out
A Significant other

All in no particular order.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I often wonder at the nature of the universe. Does membrane theory hold true? If so, did two such membranes bump into each other and cause our universe to come into existence? Time exists outside of our dimension, but so does gravity. Are the two linked? Who knows. Also, relationships I may have one day. Finding my Special One that will be with me to the end. I just wonder what she'll be like. I wonder about a lot of stuff. I have a curious mind, but sometimes it stays active, especially when I'm trying to go to sleep.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working a 13 hour shift and wanting to get out of there so I can go see friends and family, whether to hang out or go to the bar for Karaoke. (I don't normally sing, but I would for my lady, may she have cotton for her ears)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know. That I'm somewhat shy? Online, I don't know what I'd share. In person, I'll tell you more.
