My Self-Summary

INFP - the Healer

Well, I've been divorced for about 4 yrs. and really haven't been dating much. I have kids but, am hesitant about bringing some one new into their lives right off the bat.

I really haven't had much luck dating and nobody believes me when I say that. LOL! Most people think I'm already taken. I have a big heart...too big for my own good sometimes. I believe in love, which is probably something a guy wouldn't say. You know that guy that leaves cards in your purse every now and then just to tell you that he's thinking about you...well that's me. I'm a romantic to a fault at times I guess. I guess I'm here to find some one real. Not into cyber stuff or games. I don't like people who yell or are abusive... had enough of those types in my life, don't need any more.

I'm comfortable with who I am. I don't have a problem shopping Victoria's Secret with you or going to see a chick flick. I am straight and I get a lot of guys hitting on me. So, I don't mind having friends who are gay (I have many) just respect the fact I am straight. I'll be a shoulder to cry on but, thats about it.

I teach...not high school though, and my teaching sometimes requires me to travel. I like the outdoors...camping, hiking, kayaking and mountain climbing.

I have that personality that people like to confide to. I even get people I've never met tell me their life story and ask my advice. I actually ran into a Medicine-man who explained to me what he says is the reason why. But, when I explain it to other people, they think I'm a little weird! LOL!

I like sports, played Rugby for San Francisco for 4 yrs. and also competed in Iaido tournaments. But, really haven't got into anything local.

I currently run a company out at the Port. I try to keep my professional life separate from my personal life ( I don't like to take my work home with me).

On my off time I write poetry and music. I DJ as well. It's going well but, I don't want to come across as a braggart. I am trying to get my Bachelor degree out of the way right now.

What I’m doing with my life

I love to travel. Of all the places I've been, its hard to pick just one place that I would call my favorite. I like the sunrise in the Swiss Alps, March snows in the Black Forrest, spring and fall in Appalachia, twilight in Hong Kong, sunset in Arabia, and the stars in the Australian outback. I love the morning mist in the Tai Mo Shan, the light rains in Oslo, and watching the wild horses run near the Snoqualmie Pass. I like the deep blue of the open ocean, Dolphins running at the bow, and Killer Whale pods of the coast of California.

Some people get intimidated over the fact I've been so many places. I don't think it should be a problem. I've done what I've done in my life cause I'm me.

I’m really good at

Music, art, and poetry. At least I'm told that. LOL!

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm shy when meeting people for the first time.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Last read was "The Selected Poems of Dylan Thomas", reading "Momoyama" now. its a book on Japanese art and culture during the Momoyama period.

As for movies I love Danny Kaye films. Music I'll listen to just about anything...except Rancheros ar songs written and performed by Kim Jong Il. Food... Lebonese, Sushi, Greek, Italian, Indian, I guess I'm pretty adventerous but, still don't mind swingin by Taco bell or to MacDaddy's for a few burgers.

The six things I could never do without

Ummm... Air, water, food, my son, the Earth, I'll have to think about the last one.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

"If It's In My Mind, It's On My Face"

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing what ever I happen to be doing. LOL!

You should message me if

I just have a splitting headache. Message me if you think you can make it go away! LOL!
