Hurrah! Self-summaries. So much fun. Well. I'm a dork. I enjoy this fact. But I'm a lovable, good-natured sort of dork. Relatively harmless, really. I like having a small group of close friends, as opposed to knowing a ton of people I don't really care about. Also, I'm incredibly loyal and if you get me to care about you then I'll go out of my way any day of the week to help you out. Aaaand...I'm also entirely composed of marshmallows, much like a peep.

...okay, so that last part was a lie. I try not to lie when I can help it. Honest.

Great Zeus, it's been a while since I've updated this profile. And yet I can't bring myself to delete any of the stuff written above this paragraph. It's all still true, just a bit stupidly-written. Which is not to say THIS isn't stupidly-written. But I digress.

I'm currently stuck in Alabama and I'm incredibly eager to get out of here (despite having a great job and liking the city I live in). I've discovered I enjoy adventure a great deal and trying crazy things at least once. I've also realized I enjoy meeting new people and picking their brains.

Travel! I love to travel. So much. Exploration is great. I couchsurfed and backpacked through Western Europe for a month and had a blast.

I do 3D Stuff (modeling, animating, texturing, motion capture, etc.)...and hope to get into the movie and/or video game industry.

listening, breathing, consuming foodstuffs, creating random pieces of artwork, obsessing over grammar, video-gamin', occasionally rambling, doing graphic design-type-stuff, 3D modeling and animation, and other miscellaneous whatnots.

The "His Dark Materials" trilogy by Phillip Pulman are my all-time favorite books. I primarily read fiction, typically fantasy or sci-fi. I don't really have a particularly favorite author, I've read Robert Jordan, Garth Nix, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Brooks, Terry Goodkind, Ray Bradbury, J.K. Rowling, Orson Scott Card, et al.

When it comes to music, I primarily listen to indie rock. Always looking for something new and awesome, however, and always open to different genres. Music-makers I enjoy include Sufjan Stevens, Doves, Iron and Wine, Passion Pit, Death Cab for Cutie, The Album Leaf, Ra Ra Riot, Arcade Fire, Nobuo Uematsu, Explosions in the Sky, Ellie Goulding, Danny Elfman, MGMT, La Roux, Florence + The Machine, The XX and so many, many more.

Food! I'm not picky when it comes to food. I'm a firm believer in "try-something-new-at-least-once". I just about love it all. And I can definitely eat just about all of it. How I love my metabolism.

I'm going to throw games in here, since this seems like the appropriate category. RPGs are my all time favorite, with first-person shooters coming in second. To borrow (and modify slightly) a tag line from the awesome gaygamer.net, I'm a boy who likes boys who like joysticks. Top three? Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Earthbound.
