I am Nerdy, Shy, and nonsensical.

I am currently a substitute teacher in the Bay Area and also working in a hostel in San Francisco. Trying to find time to hang out with new people and enjoying my new life, post graduation.

My hair, super curly, used to go down my back but has since fallen prey to a recent familial hairdresser.

When at a loss for my name people usually resort to the curly haired chick with the glasses. And, yes, I will respond to it if called.

Books: I am the child of a life long bookseller who turned bookseller herself, my bibliophilia knows no bounds. I started reading Harry Potter when I was 10 and quite literally grew up with them so they have a special place on the bookshelf of my heart. But just on a spitting out the top three that come to mind: Ender's Game, The Things They Carried, The Sound and the Fury. I have recently gotten into graphic novels. I do believe that 'Young Adult' is an art form, The Hunger Games has become a recent obsession. Read it, trust me.

Movies: Yes.

Music: Cake is my favorite band. Bowie is my favorite Artist. I don't think I can properly explain the 'type' I listen to cause I really don't have one. I have a love of musicals that cannot be contained and more gangster rap than my feminist tendencies can handle.

Food: Mexican is a must have and I do believe San Francisco has the best burritos and if you don't... well... you're wrong. Growing up in the bay area I have had the benefit of a diverse palate. Two exceptions, sushi and Ethiopian food just don't do it for me.

At home or with friends at their home, a cafe, or the local movie house. I'm not one for the raging party I get enough exposure to that at work.

I never did learn how to ride a bike.
