My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see here...

After a 25 year stint in Nebraska, I finally decided to embrace electricity, expand my palate beyond just corn and try some weekend activities that didn’t involve cow tipping by moving to Chicago, and I absolutely love it (as do the cows). I will admit, I do tend to have a love/hate relationship with season of summer. On any given day you may find us grilling out on a rooftop, checking out a music festival, or enjoying movies in the park. But even summer finds that we need a break and leaves me to deal with winter... at least there's football season.

I like to think that I am a kind and caring person, and if anyone would agree, I’m sure it would be Bono, especially after that time I held his hand which prevented him from falling off the guard rail during the middle of, “Sunday, Bloody Sunday.”

Oh, and speaking of singing, I can’t! That doesn’t stop me, however, from heading over to one of the many awesome dive bars here in Chicago for some karaoke. I do tend to open the song book before I order my first drink, and will sing anything from “Under Pressure” to “Springtime for Hitler.” I (obviously) tend to have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor, and think anything in the right light can be funny.

You could also say I’m an impulsive hobbyist. My career pretty much requires me to be a pop culture information sponge, and so I am always trying to get out and learn new things that range from improving my photography skills, attending film screenings that AMC Theaters would never show to learning how to master craps at the casino.

I could go on, but the last thing I want is for this profile to resemble a Stephen King novel. So if I sparked your interest or sound like your kind of fun, shoot me a message and let's talk!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work as an art director for an advertising agency. I get paid to draw with sharpies, consume lots and lots of YouTube and Spotify, and most recently, try out my best Mark Summers impression while we hosted an office themed “Double Dare” like game show.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Acting like I always know what I'm doing, even if I dont.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was once told I had the eyes of Boy George... I really hope that’s not what everyone first thinks.

Being that it's summer, I try and get outside as much as possible on the weekends. This could include happy hours on a patio or roof, hanging by the lake, or even just running errands on my bike.

I do enjoy (like pretty much everyone else on OK Cupid) staying in every once in awhile with a bottle of wine and catching up on TV or watching a movie.
