My self-summary
Well, I'm just me. I'm sarcastic, loyal, well read, opinionated, completely devoted to my nephews and niece, honest, and I have a very low tolerance for bullshit or stupidity. I'm not sure what I'm looking for, I guess I'll know it when I find it. I'm not a person who feels you have to be in a relationship in order to be complete or happy. I do think that a healthy, adult relationship could add a new dimension to anyone's life and that could be a great thing. If I find love someday great, if not great. I love to learn new things, and have new experiences. If you disagree with the opinions that you read here, that doesn't necessarily mean we won't get along, I love having an open, intelligent discussion with people who have an opposing view point to my own. I will say I tend to be highly attracted to intelligent men, and talented ones. Not to say looks aren't important. I believe physical attraction is very important to a non-platonic relationship. I'm gonna stop rambling now, if you want to know something just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
I just took a job in a bookstore, it's pretty much where I belong for now. The future though? No worries, I've got big plans, and I only get better with age :)
I’m really good at
I'm not sure that I'm REALLY good at anything. I'm pretty good at lots of things though. Kind of a jack of all trades, master of none sort of situation I guess. I have a few creative outlets, I like to sing, dance, cook and write. All of those things are so subjective though, one person might think I'm really good at them, but you might think I suck. It's all just personal taste.
The first things people usually notice about me
I don't know. I guess I could ask the next few people I meet, but that's kind of creepy so I probably won't.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Really these should all be separate. I love, love, love to read. You should go pick up a copy of 1Q84, seriously, go get it! My list of books and authors that I love could go on for days, so I'll try and condense it. J.D. Salinger is a literary GOD. Carlos Ruiz Zafon is amazing, let me say that again, amazing. Gregory McGuire is pretty spectacular. The Road by Cormac McCarthy is one of the most incredible books ever written. I read a little bit of everything, David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Anne Rice, Christopher Paolini, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Charles Dickens, Tana French, and on and on. I will say without hesitation that I HATE Dan Brown, and Stephanie Meyer, they should never be published again. The only good thing to ever come out of Stephanie Meyer's writing is Taylor Lautner shirtless.

Well enough of that, on to movies. I like movies, some movies I even love. Anything by Alfred Hitchcock is worth multiple viewings. So is From Here to Eternity, Roman Holiday, Sgt. York, All About Eve, and tons of those old classics. More recent favorites include Love Actually, Steel Magnolias, Death Becomes Her, Moulin Rouge, Juno, and lots more.

Music is another one where I could just go on forever, I love music, all kinds. Country to hip hop to jazz to Broadway musicals, there is at least something in just about every genre that I love. I'm not going to lie, I'm pretty much obsessed with K-pop. Oh, and Adele's voice is like oxygen.

Food? I effing LOVE food, I'll try anything at least once, I'm very adventurous, at least when it comes to food.
Post Script-
I love so many books and authors that I'm always thinking of things to add, but occadionaly I realize I have made an inexcusable error of exclusion. Such is the case with James Baldwin. The man was a genius and I adore his work. I think I forgot to mention Niel Gaiman too, oh the shame....
The six things I could never do without
1) My nephews and niece
2) My library card
3)Burt's Bees lip balm
4)A hat
5)Chocolate
6)My friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to take over the world? Lol Seriously I spend quite a bit of time thinking about how terrible people can be to each other, and why we don't try harder to understand each other.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not babysitting then you can find me with my nose in a book. On rare occasions I might go out and get drunk and dance, but as I said that is rare.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not really sure what they're looking for here. I'm an open book really, if there's something you want to know just ask.
