Nostalgia...it Ain't what it used to be
What I’m doing with my life
Working, paying taxes and trying not to complain about it. Camping, a slow sunset and a laugh at myself helps keep it together. I'm trying to develop a balance between the physical and the intellectual, the Yin and the Yang.
I enjoy being out but am equally comfortable with the peace and quiet of home and my own company.
Painting classes, a visit to the craft market and food fair, beekeeping, camping, reading, out with mates, tending the garden.
I’m really good at
You can be the judge of that, I'm not going to blow my own trumpet.
(But i might mention fantastic foot rubs and I look good in an apron.)
The first things people usually notice about me
The people around me are smiling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Too much to mention here, No horrors, unless you are willing to feed me hot milk and sing me to sleep. Food (and women) Italian, Thai, Indian in that order.
I don't do Metal music, like my life some kind of harmony is essential.
The six things I could never do without
Sunday morning chilling.
My electric pressure cooker.
A laugh with mates.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My dream farm in the country with a forest and a river flowing through it and mountains right by the sea under the Milk Way. Why the sun shines at work but it's raining on the weekend. How to feed the world. Is the world losing the plot and all the aggression out there. How a simple act of kindness can ripple through the universe.
On a typical Friday night I am
Open to suggestions.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am on an internet dating site.
You should message me if
Your gut feeling says you should, it might even be destiny.
You just want a pen pal on the other side of the planet, who you will never meet but it could be a laugh anyway.
You know next weeks lottery numbers.
I've been single a long time and am content to wait for magic. If I want sex, a casual fling or something trivial I don't need a dating site.
