I admire strength (of character), humor, and intelligence, and as such strive toward all of these things.

Life is too short to be anything but happy, so that's a continuous goal for. I look for happiness in the future as much for happiness in the now, but...I hate being miserable. I'm just not good at it.

The honest truth is, if it would have kept you from dating me in high school, I'm probably still into it. I'm a professional comic book writer, and still enjoying reading them. I love horror, SF, fantasy...all that stuff. I even play D&D twice a month.

I offset this horrible geekdom by being a bartender when comic books don't pay the bills (which is usually). I'm pretty confident that I can engage with someone on any subject; you wouldn't know I was a huge geek unless I told you...which I guess I just did.

I like to take care of the people in my life. I like to be there for them, to support them in their endeavors, and to help them up when they are down. My friends and family are the most important part of my life.

I'm a professional writer who is still just breaking in. I have paid and published work to my name, but it's not paying the bills on anywhere near a consistent basis. I write comics, and am aspiring to writing for film, TV, and even (hell, especially) a novel someday.

Communication. I am easy to talk to and I speak my mind easily. I have plenty to say and opinions on just about everything, but I'm also mostly open-minded and can hear what other people have to say. In fact, I love to listen to people and to get to know them better.

Games. By this, I mean I love to play them. Some I'm really good at, some not so much.

I know entirely too much about the sport of football.

Ummm...I'm 6'5", I'm a BIG (yeah, I'm a little "candy-coated", but even if I were trim, I'd be broad of shoulder...I'm just large) man, and I have dreadlocks that are almost down to my butt.

I am loud-ish. I catch the attention of others...generally in a good way. (Not always, though, if I'm being honest. One person's loud is another's obnoxious.)

I love stories about heroes and about sacrifice. I admire these things in fiction and in life. Genre appeals to me...I love SF, horror, fantasy, but themes are bigger and more important.

My favorite film is The Empire Strikes Back. I'm a geek, sue me. That said, I love Jaws, Chinatown, Blade Runner, The Incredibles, The Apostle, Run Lola Run...even Love Actually.

My taste in music is a mixed bag. I like artists that skew just slightly from the mainstream.

I love SPICY foods. I hate bananas.

People.
Sex.
Stories.
Games.
Spicy food.
The Washington Redskins. (Unless they tweaked themselves to a slightly less ethnically charged name. I don't rail for that, but I also don't oppose it.)
