I am here, there, and everywhere.
My Self-Summary
Let me just state that I hate writing about myself.
So who am I?
My friends would describe me as generous, thoughtful, a gentleman
and pedantic. They are probably right as well. I am an information
junkie, absorbing as much trivia and random crap that I can. I have
an almost encyclopedic knowledge of films, but I rarely manage to
get to the cinema.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a dual honours degree in computing and business but was
unsure what to do with it. I'm currently attempting to get a
profesional qualification whilst working, which is just as easy as
it sounds.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, trivia machines that you find in pubs and
other things that are too numerous to mention
The first things people usually notice about me
The fact that I look miserable but I'm not I just don't smile
because I tend to look drunk when I do.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: the life of Pi, the curious incident of the dog in the night
time, and though i hate to admit it, tom clancy, john grisham and
lee child books. I have also started reading a lot of biography's
of cult icons (Kevin Smith, Bruce Campbell)
Films: I like all types of films and could never specify a single
film as a favorite, so lets try just listing a few; Jaws, Predator,
Anchorman, Gwoemul, Warriors, Requiem For A Dream, etc.
Music: all sorts. Aphex Twin, Razorlight, Dj Shadow, Jimi Hendrix,
The Doors, Queens of the Stone Age, Saul Williams, anything good
really.
Foods: mexican food is a new favorite, classic british meat and two
veg. The new favorite thing in all the world has to be
Sailor Jerry
Rum!
The six things I could never do without
Films, mp3's (which includes a playing device!), female company
would be good to! A pub (which has to have good patrons, and sell
Sailor Jerry), Friends, my overactive brain
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I should be doing, rather than what I am actually doing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either down the local wondering where all the rum has gone.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I no longer drink to get drunk, because it's an expensive thing to
do.
