This was the result of a casual shoot for a photographer friend of mine as he was practicing shots of people. I find the contrast quite stunning!
It turns out that if you go to ceili (pronounced "kay-lee") dancing and order something, that doesn't guarantee you any place to put your plate. But at least there's somewhere to put your order number!
A good shot with a terrible background. Alas! When this was taken around April 2012, I hadn't had any recent pictures of me and we needed an image for Anki decks and camp announcements.
OK Cupid wanted a picture of me, and I had my phone (but no other pictures) on hand. On the principle that now is usually the right time to do a given thing, this is what I got!
