My self-summary
Hey hey! People call me Jason.

I can be sorta clumsy, klutzy, and yet funny too. I tend to think klutz is cute, ie walking into a pole can be one of the most wholesomely funny moments in life. Of course falling into an open manhole is even more hilarious, but has potential to hurt more >8D.

Grew up in suburban Florida, where old folks come to retire. Inbred with "southernisms" ( so i guess you'd call me a redneck - don't even know if that applies to Asians) But NYC is like a second home to me, on account of I go there like once a year if I can, to see friends & family. Even took a few courses at NYU for a stint.

I am flexible both physically and actively. I like to do things on the fly. I like variety and seek it out actively. However, waiting till the last minute on things sends me into a panic, just like anyone else. On the other hand, planning far ahead (ie more than a month) also makes me nervous. It boils down to just loving living in the limelight.

If I wrote down every creative thought I have every day, I'd have a book of jokes, a plethora of movie proposals, and the chinese kama sutra. In the business we say 9/10ths of the daily ideas bleed out by the end of the day, the ones that remain are the ones that blossom.

I am curious, romantic, and full of laughs

What I’m doing with my life
I just graduated SCF with an A.A. in Arts majoring in Theatre. I'm attending UCF to pursue a BA in Theatre and a Minor in Music. My life's ambition is to be an Actor, Singer, and Dancer, that can play multiple instruments, and rub his head and his belly at the same time.

I keep up by working out and keeping fit. It is imperative to balance time spent in front of the computer with time spent lifting weights. I'm pretty proud of my fitness level. A+ Read that as proud, not vain!

My ultimate goal in life is to put smiles on peoples faces, or to tug at their heartstrings, but hey who says we can't have both? Just check out Romantic Comedies.

I’m really good at
Singing. I frequent karaoke places and have made many friends that way. One time was on a cruise ship Everyone seemed to enjoy my knockout rendition of The Reason by Hoobastank, but I'm not sure if that was cause of the open bar or if they actually liked it. A few people recognized me and thanked me the next morning so I guess they did remember something.

Music has always been a big part of my life. On top of singing, I can play the piano & violin. I was good enough once to attend a summer music camp at Florida State University. I don't write music, but I'm working on that.

I like to spend whatever time left helping folks. The truth has more power than a lie. I've become somewhat of a makeshift matchmaker. One of these days, I'll have the opportunity to utilize my own advice.

The first things people usually notice about me
It must be my hair. I just can't settle on a doo I like the most, stylists get ulcers because of me.

I have an infectious smile and an exuberant laugh.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Activities:
Anime Karaoke Movies Acting Romantic Comedies Water Parks Good Food Foreign Cultures Cooking
Video Games.

Video games - although that term is horribly out of date - stimulate me because I'm a sand-box type of player that likes freedom to explore environments, make connections, and complete goals for confidence-building rewards. Oh, and of course the guttural satisfaction of winning against all odds.

I've played games on many platforms, from cellphone to portable console, PC to TV-console, and Internet social networking. If I had to name an all-time favorite game, well that'd be Mario Kart, its fun by yourself, with sit-beside-you friends, with online faceless friends, with family, you name it!

I always enjoy movies that provoke something, whether it be tears, laughter, indignation, thought; so rather than keep you here till morning, I will say what I dislike, and that's stoner movies that max out on crude humor (ie excessive potty mouth for its own sake), surfer-esque lingo, and cop-out jokes that indicate the creators just weren't trying. To illustrate what i mean, Harold & Kumar, no. Wayne's World no. However, Reefer Madness, yes. Dukes of Hazzard, yes.

Favorite music? My tastes are so broad, in general I like music from the 80s, throaty classical music, classic rock, old swing and dance tunes, original music from select movies and musicals, and I'm both a Beatle-maniac and an ABBA-manic, systematic, hydromatic, greased lightning of a man.

Food wise, I'm an adventurous eater. I will often scour a menu looking for the oddest selection I can find. I am always looking for an equally minded person to share a meal with. I'm fascinated by East Asian cultures, all of their customs, including traditional cuisines, dress, and festivals.

The six things I could never do without
The internet. Suburbia has this effect where you feel shut out in your house and every other house kinda wants nothing to do with you.

My Zune 30gig with the brown and green pallet.

Food and liquids. I value my taste buds.

My friends, for whom understand me better than myself.

My family, for whom I'm very thankful.

and the valuable efforts of viewers like you.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I don't spend a lot of time thinking actually. I'm spending a lot of time thinking as I'm writing as I read the words that I'm just about to type from my head, but actual thinking is time I could spend actually proactively doing something.

However, on certain occasions I do think a lot. I think when it concerns a decision. I'm actually a slow decision maker because I feel compelled to weigh every factor and trade-off, like a weight-watcher at the candy store.

Sometimes...thinking is dangerous….those times you just got to go with your gut, like when you must choose whether to save a cat from a tree or pull a granny out of the way of oncoming traffic.

On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging with my social circles, or off at a club meeting.
Casual dinners out are acceptable and encouraged.
Date? Sure. I would be up for that. Just no movie dates please, especially not on a Friday night, opening night crowds do not agree with me.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm hygienic, I like to feel clean.

I like the smell of citrus, flowers, and lavender.

I still enjoy squeezing plush toys (ie stuffed animals) though of the Japanese variety, although occasionally of the Disney variety too.

  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18-24
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating, activity partners
You should message me if
I value other people's opinions, never be afraid to tell me what you really think. Fair warning, I tend to speak my mind.

I am quite open to questions, if you have anything you want to ask me, I don't mind saying it; if you're determined enough. I'm not sure if people ever say it about me, but I feel I am a good listener.

You just think you want to strike up a random conversation with me. Have no fear, shed some tears, and give me your story. I got Kleenex handy.
